We had a great time. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The kitchen had a great supply of pots/pans/utensils to cook a meal. Even the light switches were labeled which was really helpful.

I’m so glad you felt at home and were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub in the evenings — that’s one of our favorite ways to unwind there as well. Delighted the kitchen had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. You were a pleasure to host, and we would love to welcome you back anytime! Warm regards, Rebecca

This house was awesome! It was very clean, spacious and included many thoughtful touches. Kitchen was well-stocked and the pool was great. Best part was the top deck at night, cool and breezy. Most rentals are scrubbed of all personality but this home still has family pictures and heirlooms all around, lending a very homey feel. It was the perfect ops center for our big event!

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review — it truly means a lot. I’m so glad you enjoyed the space (and that evening breeze on the top deck — it’s a favorite spot!). We’ve always hoped the home would feel personal and welcoming rather than “just a rental,” so your note about the family touches really made us smile. It was such an honor to host you during your family for Coronation — and what a special year with your daughter being presented. We are delighted the house could serve as a comfortable and memorable home base for such a meaningful occasion. You were wonderful guests, and we would absolutely love to host you again anytime!

Staying near beautiful Ocean Drive and close to the beach, bayfront, aquarium etc all the while being in a peaceful, quiet and charming neighborhood was just what our family needed. We went fishing, had a beach day, pool day, aquarium and science museum week. Our kids were so sad to leave. Special thanks to the host for a clean big beautiful cozy house! We had a wine bottle, chips and dip and cold AC that greeted us. The host made sure house was perfect we will stay again for sure!

Family time

This is a lovely home to use as a base for activities in Corpus Christi. The weather didn't cooperate for us to spend time in pool or hot tub, but they both looked very inviting. The neighborhood is quiet and large yards separate the homes. The owner is very responsive to questions/ concerns. There was also a very friendly neighborhood cat who liked to pop by to check on us.

Gen X approved

Check-in was easy. Kitchen was warm and welcoming, had everything we needed, so we were able to eat in a few times. Bathrooms were towel-stocked and I loved not having to give up the luxury of big, plush towels. THEY HAVE POOL SUPPLIES! And that was a huge plus; an added bonus. There were a few times I needed to reach out to Rebecca and the response was always prompt and favorable. I appreciated that. It was another added bonus.

We had a fantastic stay. Rebecca the host is amazing! An excellent and timely communicator!! She is also very thoughtful and left a nice little surprise upon check in!Although the house and furniture are older, it is extremely comfortable and felt so clean! Normally we will do a wipe down in kitchen etc but we didn’t feel we needed to clean anything beforehand. The bedrooms and bathrooms all felt roomy and clean as well. The floor plan allows for everyone to have plenty of space for hanging out. The house is well stocked and you get the feeling the owners are just very generous and kind with all the amenities available, this is rare as most places provide the bare minimum and lock up everything else lol. The backyard is even prettier than the pictures. Beautiful landscaping, plenty of seating, lounges for the sun and shade. Nice hot tub attached to a beautiful pool. It felt very private. There are lots of windows in the dining area so you’re able to see backyard from house and that was our first impression when entering the house. This feature really makes you feel like you’re on vacation the whole time. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. We did a 3 mile walk one morning and felt safe everywhere we went. The location is easy to find and easy access to downtown and many restaurants etc. We highly recommend this home, would def stay there again! One of the best we’ve ever! The most loving black & white cat shows up every day, we all fell in love!

We put our hearts into caring for the house and gardens, so hearing that you appreciated the cleanliness, spaciousness, and backyard is incredibly rewarding. And we’re especially happy that Lulu stopped by to make a few new friends—she does seem to have a knack for adopting our guests! 😊 We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back anytime you visit Corpus Christi.
