Wonderful stay

14 of us, with ages ranging from 18 months to 70 years old, stayed for a week. The house was perfect for all of us. A beautiful pool, a boules pitch, masses of toys for all the children and excellent eating spaces inside and out. A week was certainly not long enough! Also, a big thank you to Richard for being such a brilliant host and who was on call 24 hours a day.

Wonderful house with an amazing views

We had a wonderful 2 weeks in this exceptional house and particularly enjoyed the sweeping views of the park and the peacefulness of its location. The house is spacious with enough room for everyone and always a quiet corner if needed. Everything was well equipped and loved the open interior design of the kitchen and dining/living area. Everything was as described and well-maintained, and the owners easy to communicate with and helpful. We would certainly recommend this home and hope to come back ourselves in the future.

life in the clouds

The house is probably a mile above sea level. The sky is 360 degrees around you. Two night time electric storms provided unforgettable light shows. This, you might have guessed is no ordinary house and no common location. You are perched high on a mountain in a National Park. ( it is not secluded; three or four dozen other lovely houses form a town on the mount) We stayed two weeks in September. The weather was always warm and sunny. The house is outfitted perfectly, there is nothing wanting. The host is diligent and always available, although his preparation is complete and we needed nothing but some guidance when the power failed briefly in one of those wonderful brilliant storms. I needed help in reengaging the circuit breaker. Richard was always on the spot. Nice feeling in a foreign land. We had a special two weeks in the villa. In our ten years of renting this was by far our most pleasurable experience. How often do you get a chance to live in the clouds.

Nous avons passer une semaine entre amis nous étions 7 adultes et 5 enfants. Pour commencer merci au propriétaire qui vous mets en confiance dès le départ avec les échanges que l on a eu par mail,très réactif au questions et très précis sur les réponses. Le propriétaire nous a accueilli en personne le jour de notre arrivés et nous a expliquer le fonctionnement de sa villa en personne. La maison par quoi commencer, l intérieur est vraiment très grand il y a 5 chambres avec 3 lit doubles,toutes les chambres sont climatisées et les lits très confortables avec 3 salle de bains.Le salon est aussi climatisé,avec une pièce à vivre vraiment grande, on était 12 personnes mais nous n avions pas l' impression d être les uns sur les autres. Tous est prévus serviette de bains,draps pour les lits. La cuisine est tous équiper,il ne manquer rien. Prévoir 20 min de voiture pour allez à castelldefels qui je trouve est le plus proche pour allez à la mer et 30 min de sitges. La vue est vraiment fabuleuse, le quartier est calme. Nous avons passer une semaine vraiment géniale encore merci au propriétaire de nous avoir permis de nous réunir dans sa villa.

Séjour Villa Alicia à Olivella

Nous tenons à remercier Richard, Nous avons eu un excellent accueil, la maison était parfaitement préparée, agréable et propre ! De plus, si besoin, Richard était rapidement et gentiment disponible ! La maison est confortable, les chambres spacieuses et l’environnement est génial, la vue est splendide, c’est calme et on peut se promener dans le parc naturel en toute sécurité. Pour les commodités, tout est facile d’accès, magasins, supermarchés, plages, autoroute etc... Encore une fois merci à Richard le propriétaire, nous avons passé une excellente semaine et nous sommes très heureux de vous avoir laissé notre Balthazar de vin rouge ( visé bien entendu) 😀😀😀 Pour ceux qui hésiteraient, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés

Prachtig huis en goede voorzieningen

Het is een beetje zoeken en je moet een behoorlijk stuk de bergen in, maar dan heb je een prima huis tot je beschikking. De verhuurder was behulpzaam en meegaand, prima ervaring. Boodschappen moet je wel van ver meenemen want er zijn geen voorzieningen in de buurt.

Iberian Heaven

The location in the middle of a park is relaxing and peaceful. The property is very spacious and easily accommodated our 2 families. Comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The various outdoor living spaces are wonderful places to enjoy the nature all around. We made great use of the refreshing pool and had several barbecues. A great escape from the otherwise busy Spanish coast.

Perfect family vacation

A comfortable villa ideally located with great 360' views. Renting a car is needed to explore the area. Can't thank you enough Alice for some fantastic memories.

Simply Wonderful

Beautifully decorated with style. A++ for all 3 families. Sparkling clean with huge spaces throughout to relax and enjoy the home and surrounding nature. Property is private and a nice change from the busy coast. Plenty of hiking trails around the park. One day we even hiked down to the beach on a country path, some 6 miles. Luckily we caught a ride back with our friends and made it to the pool just in time for happy hour.

Ready to return for more fun

Fabulous modern villa with all the facilities you need in a great location. The home is stylish throughout with comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe/storage space. I would highly recommend this villa - Richard and Alice are perfect hosts - and Barcelona coast is a lovely location for a holiday. Plenty to see and do for all ages.

The perfect holiday home

I can't say enough about this villa. Our families had a wonderful 14-day stay in the middle of nature. The house was beautiful, immaculately clean, and airy with plenty of space to stretch out. The covered terraces were great for our daily outdoor meals. For months before our trip Richard answered any and all questions about Barcelona and gave us tips and advice. My kids wanted to stay all Summer! Thanks.

Exceptional villa and views!

We have stayed in several VRBO properties and have been very satisfied. This villa is exceptional: modern, spacious, beautifully designed and built and perfectly maintained. The owner helped with whatever we asked, like booking a local chef one evening. Great meal of local dishes. I highly recommend doing this! The views of the nature all around recharged our tired bodies. We were 2 families of 4, plus 2 grandparents and had plenty of space both inside and out to really enjoy our stay. We would love to return! Maybe next year...

Superb spacious villa

This wonderful home met all of our expectations and more. It's an impressive and expansive villa situated in a beautiful national park. A great place for a vacation in an area is which not overly commercialized or touristy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa and were impressed with the quality of furnishings and the range of appliances for our use. Everything in the villa is well maintained. The villa and very tastefully decorated, yet homely and comfortable. The location was wonderful to not only explore Barcelona but also the coast to the south. We recommend Villa Alicia to anyone looking for luxury villa accommodation. Thank you for letting us use your home.

Relax and Enjoy

Thanks for a most relaxing and enjoyable "escape" from reality! Our families spent a week at this wonderful listing. The house was beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. The livingroom was especially open and bright. Great location in nature and fabulous for our beach lovers. The owner was very friendly and answered all of our questions before and after our arrival. A flawless visit from start to finish and above and beyond our expectations. I would absolutely recommend this listing for anyone seeking a relaxing experience. Hopefully we can visit again.

Fun in the winter

We arrived late but were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome of the hosts. The villa is very well designed with all the modern conveniences you would expect; air con/heat, Wi-Fi, TV (not that we used it once on this vacation). We liked the huge living-room where we spent lots of time relaxing to music and reading books from the house library. Thanks for the local area trip suggestions.

Fantastic luxury villa in the mountains

Modern and very luxury villa in the beautiful mountains - fantastic views over the mountains and situated in a beautiful Spanish village. Villa with all types of modern facilities, and so clean and well-maintained. Garden was lovely with beatiful palm trees and the pool. We - a Danish Family with 4 children - spent a week in this fantastic house. We had such a relaxing holiday away from the busy daily life.. Our children (teenagers) enjoyed the sun and the pool (they loved that we had our own pool, not staying in a big hotel with a lot of other tourists) and we all stayed a lot in the beautiful garden. And - important also:): the kitchen of the house has everything needed to make food - but if you want to go out in the neighbourhood: the village has 2 restaurants, one very typical Spanish one in a garage with lovely food and such a nice famliy and another with a German owner, also fantastic food, more international. And to make you safe when you order this house: we will give the owner our VERY best recommendation: he is SO sympatic and very humorous and he gives you all the information you need. He answers every question you have before arriving and also during your stay.....and his description of the villa is very accurate. He is a very honest person. We will certainly like to go there another time - and the coast and nearby towns as Sitges takes only 20 minutes to reach in a car.

Wonderful villa, perfect holiday

We spent a week in this villa in October 2011 and truly had a perfect time. The house is very modern, kept very clean and in a perfect condition. So is the pool area as well as the garden. The villa offers everything that a family can enjoy a holiday. Since October still was quite warm we even could enjoy the pool and its amenities every day of the week in perfect weather conditions. The kids were excited by the sandbox, trampolin and the toys available at the house. The location in the middle of the Garraf National Park in 'Plana Novella' is ideal for being a bit away from the busy areas of Sitges or Castelldefels. But still all the touristic hotspots throughout the Penedès or even Barcelona are easy to reach. Although a car is necessary. The owner as well as the person taking care of the house on a regular basis were always reachable and very helpful in answering our questions. Before travel we received very helpful driving directions and written instructions/informations about all you need to know about the villa. Thank you once more Anna and Richard.

Our Stay Could Not Have Been Better.

Our stay at this villa was a wonderful experience. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. The owners did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one. In addition to the kinds of amenities one usually expects, a book and video library was available as well as places to work or just stay in touch through the internet if desired. The house is especially child friendly with a beautiful yard and play area including a trampoline, etc. The "kids" bedroom has an extensive toy collection and our granddaughter loved the opportunity to play with toys that were new to her. The owners went out of their way to make sure we understood how everything worked and provided a number where they could be reached at any time if we had questions. He also kindly provided printed sheets of directions to local attractions and places to visit. The area around the villa is beautiful and restful but busier activities are but a short distance away in Sitges (wonderful beaches, restaurants, and other attractions) and Barcelona where we spent a number of days visiting the touris attractions one wants to see. I would recommend this property without reservation. We had a wonderful time and the villa and the thoughtful and kind service provided by Richard and Alice were in large part responsible for the enjoyable time that we had.

Relaxing getaway

We stayed in this lovely house for a week in October. The property is spacious and luxurious and maintained to a very high standard. It had everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing break. Our small son really enjoyed spending time in the pool and on the trampoline and running around the garden. The property is in the middle of the national park and so would suit walkers and mountain bikers, although you would have to be a fairly useful cyclist as many of the roads round about could be described as challenging! Sitges and Barcelona are within relatively easy reach and there is also local beach about 15 minutes drive away. A great place to chill out and enjoy watching the sunset as you barbeque!
