This elevated, luxurious cottage is quite literally a few short steps from all that downtown Waynesville has to offer! Featuring a hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, comfy porch, and dog friendly policy, this place is perfect for friends, families, or couples traveling together. From the gorgeous chef's kitchen to the well-stocked game supply, this gathering place has been thoughtfully curated to be a fun and cozy vacation destination.



The Space:

Each bedroom features a queen size bed, TV, and bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house with the living area in the center, providing plenty of privacy. There is a Pack n' Play and kid's toys on site, along with family board games and Spectrum cable. Water and food bowls are provided if you bring a furry friend!



The front porch is a fantastic sitting spot for al fresco dining, morning coffee or an evening cocktail! The 4 person fire pit and hot tub are protected by privacy fences, so you can relax under the stars. Enjoy a night grilling on the back porch and dining by the twinkle lights. Coffee is also complementarily provided.



📍Peaceful Setting, Ideally Location:

Steps Away Cottage is located on a quiet, tree-lined street with plenty of privacy for you and your guests. Downtown Waynesville is only a 5 minute walk from the house, giving you easy access to top local activities and eateries. Some of our favorite destinations are: the Wall Street Book Exchange, Smokey Mountain Sandwich Shop, Sassafras Toy Store, The Sweet Onion, Wildflour Blue Bakery, Orchard Coffee, and the Blue Ridge Beer Hub. If you feel like takeout during your stay, UberEats and DoorDash are available. There's also a Chick-Fil-A a few minutes down the road along with lots of grocery store options. We recommend our local Ingles.



Guest Access:

You and your guests will have the entire property to yourselves.



Getting Around:

Easy walk to downtown Waynesville. 37 minute drive to downtown Asheville.



Other Things to Note:

-Ring security camera is located at front door

-Hot tub is sanitized before and after each stay, please read hot tub instructions in the house manual

-Fence is a privacy fence and is not enclosed

-For your convenience feel free to use any firewood onsite. If you use wood onsite please replace what you used for the next guest. Firewood is available at nearby shops including Lowes and Ingles.



Pet Policy:

Only dogs are permitted at this property. A maximum of two dogs are allowed, each under 50 lbs. No other animals or pets of any kind are permitted. Dogs must be leashed outdoors at all times and are not allowed on furniture or beds. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional cleaning fees or removal from the property.
