This home was perfect for our group. We loved the large dining room table, and the four bedrooms were comfortable. We were able to manage with only 1 full bathroom just fine. Being within walking distance of the main street / attractions / park also made everything we wanted to do very convenient. Appreciate the hospitality!

The property was exactly as depicted very clean and comfortable. Communication was good and access for both the house and garage were very easy and straight forward. We loved the location with the park right there and the beach a few minutes walk. We used the golf cart to get around town. Great shops and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again when we return to Cape Charles.

The house was lovely and very clean! I am not fond of travelling as I own a cleaning company that inspects many turnover properties, but I was especially surprised to experience a clean rental. The golf cart is a must as we never got back in our vehicle until it was time to check out.Our hosts were very responsive and we are saving up for our return to this beautiful home.

Our stay was only for a few days, wanted to stay longer but work obligations for some in our group got in the way. Lovley 2 story home that was very accommodating! House was well stocked and very clean and comfortable! beds were comfortable. Had the pleasure of meeting and talking with John the owner as we got into town a little early. Rented one of the golf carts that they had available, and it is a must for getting around town and going to and from the beach! Also, the house is located right across the street from a beautiful little park. Would definitely love to rent this house again and hope to in the future for our trips to Cape Charles! Rachelle and John were excellent hosts and we Thank them for letting us stay at the Brickhaven by the park.

Great stay! Beds were comfortable, hosts extremely responsive and accommodating, and living/dining areas were spacious! My only “room for improvements” were the lack of an outdoor shower, regular coffee maker, and the size of the kitchen but we knew those things going into it so still very much a 5-star stay!

Stayed for 3 nights for a fishing adventure. Weve stayed at many houses in cape charles over the years. This was the nicest. Host was very responsive with questions. Amazing location walking distance to most restaurants. Across from the park. Very clean. Nice beds. Highly recommend

Family Getaway

We stayed here with my family of 2 adults & 4 kids. The location of the home is fantastic: right next to the park and a short walk to Mason Ave for shopping. We could hear the summer concert from our front porch on Sat night! My kids had a blast playing the pacman and asteroids games. And the home is probably the nicest rental we have ever stayed in, as far as the quality of the furnishings. The beds were so comfortable! Our only issue was that there wasnt an outdoor hose to wash off our sandy feet so we made do with a cooler full of water to dip our feet in. Also, bring extra trash bags and toilet paper as there is only a limited starting supply provided. Overall, I highly recommend this house!

Great Location, Beautiful House

The house is absolutely gorgeous with tons of amazing architectural details throughout. It is also in a great location central to Cape Charles and across the street from the park. Our 4 year old really appreciated that we could get to the playground very quickly and easily. And having a couple of old arcade games systems was awesome as well! We played those quite a bit. Overall there are plenty of amenities in the house and the beds are quite comfortable too.I do highly recommend renting the golf cart as well, as that made getting around town a breeze, and you can fit in much smaller spaces than a car on a busy weekend. The owners sent several emails ahead of the stay to keep us informed of the check in process and what to bring vs what is provided. We met the owner in person by chance walking out one day as he was mowing the lawn on the property, and he was very friendly and told us about the future updates they plan to make to the property. One thing to note if you have a large family is that there is only one tub/shower. It worked for us just fine, but something to be aware of. All in all we truly enjoyed our stay in this property and would definitely recommend it.
