Very clean, nicely renovated home. Fabulous location and easy to get around. Host was very prompt at getting back to us if we had any questions. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

Our foursome of adults was extremely pleased with this property. The decor, the amenities, the parking all exceeded our expectations. Definitely a property you will enjoy. Gladys was very quick to respond to any questions. If I return to San Antonio, I will definitely come back to this property. Thanks for a great getaway.

This beautiful home was very perfect for us. Very, very close to downtown San Antonio. Very close to anything we ever needed during our stay, hostess was very easy to work with and got back with us immediately. Everything in the home was perfect for our stay. I highly recommend this property.

This was a perfect place to be so close to all the fun San Antonio has to offer. This property was especially perfect for my family because a high chair, and pack and play were already here so I could save space on all the things baby related. We loved how beautiful this old home was. Owner was very accommodating when we had to reschedule due to scheduling conflicts. I would stay here again for sure!

Very nice home and very clean. Only issue was noise from railroad at night which ch no can fix. Could have used some cleaning products but we managed and purchased some. But really highly recommend it.

In a typical downtown neighborhood there is the cutest house from the outside in. The house is lovely and we felt it was well stocked. It was cozy and comfortable we really enjoyed. It was perfect for a party of 6, 2-kids, 4-adults.Thanks so much

Everything was exactly as described and was so convenient to Lackland. Gladys made our stay so welcoming and the house has been beautifully remodeled with perfect comforting touches that made our stay so cozy. This property is a GEM and we would book again in a heartbeat!

The house has been remodeled and looks exactly as it does in the pictures. Beds are comfortable, kitchen stocked with the essentials, grill is clean. The location is very convenient to get to the River Walk.

The home was in a cute neighborhood, was clean and in very nice condition, and was conveniently located (grocery store, exploring downtown). I appreciated the additional fans for the bedrooms, although the sound of the train could still be an issue if your are a light sleeper. All in all is was perfect for our group of four adults.

Beautiful home perfect for our family of 4. Clean, comfortable, and a great neighborhood. Easy to get around. Hosts are super sweet and friendly. Easy to communicate with. We would definitely be booking again. Comments mentioned some noise complaints but honestly we did not find any reason to use the ear plugs that were provided. Our 2 year old slept right through the train that passes. Beds are super comfy and made you feel like you were right at home. We loved our stay.

Really enjoyed the stay. We had four adults and two kids so the size was perfect. House was clean and very comfortable. Location was convenient to downtown, King William district, and many family friendly hangouts. Given the central location there is traffic and general city noise to be aware of but easily remedied by sound machines and/or ear plugs (provided by host) if needed. Gladys was very responsive.

Upon arrival the VRBO was clean and much more spacious than initially anticipated, it had everything we needed. However - we did encounter a large cockroach and our toddler cut his foot on a cracked floor tile on the main bathroom. The neighbors had bright lights on all night and the blinds hardly could keep any light out. The train at night blares its horn three times a little more than hourly which was horrible for sleeping for all, infant and children included. You can hear every car outside, which comes with the area. We did find a park nearby which was good for the kids and the proximity to everything downtown is hard to beat. The alarm went off randomly at 2:30 am our last night which woke the whole house up. The main bathroom only had two full sized towels, which was unhelpful for bathing our three children and ourselves. Overall, we wish we had been given a partial refund for these inconveniences over credits for future stay in San Antonio or offers for host-selected delivery food. The host was responsive but ultimately not able to help in these problem areas. Prepare some noise cancelling headphones and blindfolds or portable blackout curtains if you’re a light sleeper or traveling with kids.

We’re sorry that you experienced some inconveniences during your stay. Our home is professionally treated for pest control on a regular basis. We had significant rain earlier that day, which could have caused the water roach to make its way indoors despite preventative treatment. During your stay, you contacted us regarding the roach, the scratch on your son's foot, and the alarm. We responded promptly to the concerns brought to our attention. We were not notified during your stay of the other concerns mentioned in this review, so unfortunately we did not have an opportunity to address them. As a historic home in the downtown area, some outside and train noise can occasionally be heard. For the comfort of our guests, we provide both a sound machine and earplugs for light sleepers. Regarding the alarm, it does not normally activate on its own and you may have inadvertently armed it during the stay. I am sorry that happened. We appreciate the feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our guests’ experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the spaciousness of the home, the nearby park, and the convenient proximity to downtown.

House is very nice. Has just what’s needed in kitchen. Close to highway and rail and has old windows so you do hear traffic (hosts provide earplugs but as you sit in living room you hear traffic and rail cars roll by 3x/night). TV monitor in every room to use for your own subscriptions. No antenna TV for local news, sports.

Car show stay

It was wonderful we didn’t have to bring anything other than bags. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee. The only thing was neighbors houses were pretty bad to look at in front and back yard.
