Awesome Trip to Playa Grande

Can't say enough good things about this property and the host, Dawn. It's everything you need for a trip to playa grande. The listing says its 2 minutes to the beach - however it is more like 20 seconds. Great pool for the kids, easy walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants around you to eat - walking distance. We had Dawn stock the house with groceries before we arrived. She was able to schedule all of our excursions and activities as well.

We had an incredible stay at this property! The location was a 10/10 as far as access to the beach, the break, and feeling safe within Palm Beach Estates. The house is gorgeous and new. We visited during spring which was HOT so having the pool was a huge bonus. The house manager was extremely helpful. She helped us set up everything and was so easy to communicate with. She made our trip so special including special gifts for our son who we were celebrating. Our house was cleaned every day by the cleaner including laundry! One highlight was the personal chef who the house manager coordinated for us. The meal was incredible and they were so sweet. If I had to critique one thing about the house it would be the size of the bathroom in the master upstairs—all the other bedrooms/bathrooms are large. But that was the only thing. We would absolutely choose this property again.

AMAZING :)

We had the best time at Casa Buena Vida! The home and property was absolutely fabulous & immaculate. Dawn and Ruth were beyond fabulous from start to finish and made every aspect of our vacation seamless and extra special. Got to surf out back, ride bikes, explore the area, do yoga, cook, eat great local food, massages in the backyard, just overall a great vacation and immaculate property!!!! The home is so well decorated & stocked and the yard is next level, beautiful gardens, fabulous pool, truly so peaceful and exactly what we came for. We will be back!!! Thank you guys for such a beautiful vacation and home.

Just got back from another fabulous stay in Costa Rica. While we stay in Palm Beach Estates every April, this was our first stay at Casa Buena Vida. I reached out as soon as I noticed Dawn was the Host—we have worked with her at another property before, and she is AMAZING!The house is exactly as listed! We were a party of 9 and were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed time on the back porch, where we viewed monkeys daily. When not at the beach, we made use of the pool, volleyball court, and gardens. It was wonderful! Having your own private beach path is such a nice perk—especially with teens who want to run back and forth!The entire process from rental to check out was seamless. Dawn is so responsive and ensures you have everything you need before and during your stay. She arranged excursions for us, had groceries waiting on arrival, secured a beach tent for us, coordinated airport transportation, and secured our nightly dinner reservation for us. We had one issue with a shower drain and Dawn had it taken care of pronto. I can’t say enough good things about her!We are already looking to book our return to Casa Buena Vida for 2027!

A experience in Playa Grande

Our trip to Casa Buena Vida could not have been better!The property manager, Dawn, and her entire team were amazing from start to finish. They were incredibly helpful, available, and accommodating leading up to the trip, they were warm and hospitable during our entire 9-day stay, and they were excellent in the entire check-out and follow-up process. Dawn arrange for an in house chef to come and make us two amazing dinners, a great masseuse, as well as daily cleaning service by a friendly and capable staff. The house was beautiful, very quiet and private, and just a few steps down to the beach and surf. The outdoor pool and shower were great luxuries, although we never quite got organized enough to use the private volleyball court.I would highly recommend Casa Buena Vida for anyone looking for an exceptional experience in Playa Grande. The house is beautiful, and Dawn and her team are exceptional.The only drawback to the entire experience was attempting to pay through the VRBO app, which was quite challenging and frustrating. But, Dawn more than made up for this hassle, and the entire trip was A.Thanks Dawn, and team, and look forward to seeing you all again next year. Pura Vida!

This is a beautiful home on beautiful Playa Grande. Dawn, our host, was there to welcome us. She arranged for an amazing dinner that was cooked for us upon our arrival. Our place was cleaned every day and our laundry was done at our request. The pool and the volleyball court were well maintained and we used them a lot. Whenever we had a question, Dawn was there to help us. There are two excellent restaurants within walking distance and we had monkeys in the trees. It was a perfect family vacation.
