This place was very convenient for getting to the subway and fit our needs well. It was really clean and the host was very responsive. The actual address is different than the one listed which the host tells you about after booking. It would be helpful if the correct address was listed to make comparing properties before booking easier.

We chose this listing as its size accommodated our family of 4 adults and one baby. However, the neighbourhood is not the greatest - definitely don't walk around at night!! The outside of the apartment has trash everywhere, and it is an 8-minute walk to the nearest subway station. We checked in smoothly but the smoke detector was loudly chirping low battery every few minutes, and the host could not send someone until the next morning. Our baby was up all night. No one slept due to the noise outside and the chirping alarm. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it, especially to families with babies/young children.

The stop smoke/hood extractor fan was not working, therefore every time we cooked, the fire alarm went off, and we had to open front door ( the only one we could open) to get fresh air. I called the host on Sat morning to report the issue and i was told maintenance would stop by. They never showered up. That afternoon, the alarm went off again while cooking. Contacted the host and I was told, in a condescending manner, that I could open the windows to get fresh air… the thing is that the apartment windows do not open. Very condescending. So, be ready, the same could happen to u.

Listen. This place is as pictured but if you are trying to check in early or get info about check in before 4pm this is not for you. Everything else is as advertised.

First. The waiver was completely ridiculous. Signing away all rights. If I had read that waiver prior to being on bus to nyc, I would have changed rooms. Second. We were told we could do an early check in. Not knowing how bad time is to keep in nyc, we didn’t make it early. That didn’t matter, the place was not ready, even though the assistant told me it wasn’t rented the prior 3 days. The dirty sheets were just tossed up on all beds. The towels were set in a pile on the kitchen table. The place was not cleaned, was not even touched since the last customers. There were no wash clothes for the showers. The noice level was beyond a highschool football game on Friday night. And we were told we had to keep to below 79 decibels or something.The toilets were not cleaned and could see the prior use. There was a hole in wall behind door. I don’t know if I’ll use your site again. I had my family with me and it was a terrible stay.

Firstly there were hidden charges. The house smelled was not appeasing. There were personal items remaining from other guests . Open ice cream in fridge. Lint trap broken. Noisy individuals upper floor up until 4 am. Definitely no parking. Front stoop dirty cigarette butts and trash on stepsOther than that if these things don't bother you go for it.

This property was clean, roomy, and easily accessible via subway, and an easy UBER/Taxi from JFK. We were 5 adults and 1-12 year-old. The host was exceptionally responsive.

Very spacious and great place for my group of friends to stay! We all were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. It’s a few minutes walk to a subway station. When we arrived the place had not been cleaned yet but the host quickly resolved the issue and we had no further issues. This is not in the best area of town so be aware if you plan to arrive late at night. However we had no problems during our stay! Would stay again

Great little spot in Brooklyn

You’re about a 45 minute subway ride to anywhere in manhattan, quick 7min walk to the station. Food and delis all around this location. Good spot for a large family needing a budget friendly choice near the city!

Brooklyn Getaway

Came after Christmas for a few days to explore Chinatown in Queens and Manhattan. Great location, and excellent large space for the six of us with room to spare! Wonderful neighborhood restaurants within walking distance and many markets close by. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay in BKN

Had a great time with friends in Brooklyn. The VRBO was really nice. The actual property is a little bit away from the public-facing address, which the host will ask if you’re okay with after you book. The area is definitely not bourgeois but we had no issues despite looking like we were lost (haha).

We stayed here while attending a family funeral, and the place met our needs. It was clean, had enough bed space for our family, and the location was very convenient — close to everything in Brooklyn.Parking was not an issue at all; we were able to park our rental car right in front with no problems.There were a few cosmetic things that could be improved, such as the flooring, and having more towels would have been helpful. However, the washer and dryer made it easy to wash towels overnight. A coded lock instead of physical keys would also be a nice upgrade.Overall, I’d rate the stay about a 8.5 out of 10.

Great, convenient and centralized location. A lot of shops, stores, restaurants and other conveniences, though in general, the area does not feel entirely safe. But the neighborhood has come along way, and you should be okay as long as you keep situational awareness.Check-in was flawlessly easy. The host was on point and exceeded expectations with regards to communicating quickly and beyond a timely manner. The host was nice enough to allow us to check in a bit earlier than the check in time based on our circumstances.The apartment absolutely met our needs, excellent for a bigger family. All the household necessities were provided and the place was mostly well stocked.It was a huge bonus to have a second bathroom, as having a second bathroom is virtually non-existing in NYC.Another pleasant surprise was the in-unit washer AND dryer! All rooms were neat and clean and with excellent air conditioning in each room. The main AC in the common area was either not working or complicated to use, but this was not really a problem with the AC’s in the other rooms being cold enough to make the whole unit comfortable.Parking is complicated because it’s NYC, but doable and it is not on the host. Host was clear that parking is free/ street parking.The price was a bit inflated, but not unattainable. Just takes a bit of budgeting.Can improve: having dust pan, dryer lint filter was broken.Overall, we do recommend and would repeat the stay.

Just the right location

This property served me and my family well. Being from Brooklyn originally, I was a little skeptical of the location. To my surprise, the neighborhood was quieter than expected and the property exceeded my expectations.

Perfect for our 7 day trip

Property was very clean Spacious and comfortable. Beds had nice linen w/nice size bedtooms. Kitchen everything we needed. Subway few blocks 9 min walk. Bus pick up at front door. Deli and matkets close by.We had issue w/washer but was fixrd quickly. Response by text was very quick. We would stay here again!

Crown Heights Stay

Check in was easy, and listing is just like the pictures. Plenty of clean towels available. Wish we had thicker blankets/comforters, the linens were on the thinner side for winter in NYC. Also, a curtain covering the glass doors dividing the front bedroom and living room would be nice for some privacy. Overall, for this price, the stay was just right for a weekend in Brooklyn!

The area was a bit nerve wracking as we were in a neighborhood I wasn’t very comfortable with. The host didn’t remedy the shower situation of it not working til the 3rd day of our stay … the washer didn’t work…It was clean and comfortable but disappointing we didn’t have fully working shower and there were no washcloths or hand towels..

Comfortable family hangout

We stayed there with our adult children and their partners. The space was just as it was described and a comfortable place to hang out. The only hiccough was with privacy and the front bedroom. It's separated from the family room by a glass door. We managed a temporary solution. Eli was very responsive when we needed the radiators adjusted. I would definitely stay again if I needed to be in the area.

Space itself was spacious and comfortably fit our group of 7. It was well maintained, offered some kitchen cleaning supplies, and the in-unit W/D was very useful.There was a minor confusion with the booking address, as the one listed on the Vrbo differed from the one listed on the booking management platform that was sent to us to check-in.The front bedroom does face a main street, which was noisy depending if it's a weekend/weekday, so something to consider if you're a light sleeper!
