We had a wonderful stay at this adorable cottage. Everything was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully put together. The host truly thought of everything and made our stay so easy! Communication was excellent from start to finish!

Charming property. The cottage is well supplied, the bed very comfortable, and it was obvious the host has given a lot of thought to guest needs and comfort. Being within a a couple of blocks of town was wonderful. We walked our dog half a block to dinner at Arlo’s Italian, and had a wonderful dinner on the deck. TC Stacks is also close by for an excellent breakfast and deck dog friendly. Their breakfast menu is upscale without the upscale prices, along with good coffee! Friendly and wonderful service at both restaurants. It was a fun stay, combining the comforts of the cottage with easy exploring of downtown Sandpoint.

We had the best time staying at this house! The cutest house, close to downtown. Was walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the city beach. It was a perfect place for our family! We will stay here again when we come back to Sandpoint!

Everything was perfect! Greg, the host, was amazing at communicating throughout our stay. The home was cozy and the amenities were clean and thoroughly enjoyed. The location was perfect. Just one small block to downtown where we would walk and enjoy breakfast and/or dinner and visiting shops. We just had an easy carefree week. Highly recommend this home!

5 Stars – Amazing Stay in Sandpoint, Idaho!I spent three wonderful days at this property in Sandpoint, Idaho, and honestly wish I could have stayed longer! The location was absolutely perfect, with downtown Sandpoint just a short walk away and everything we needed within walking distance.The home was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for an amazing stay. The large, comfortable bed was fantastic, and the privacy made it feel like our own little getaway. The hot tub and sauna were absolutely amazing and made the experience even better, especially after a day of exploring Sandpoint.Greg, the owner, was an outstanding host! He was friendly, responsive, and always available to answer questions, which made the entire experience that much more enjoyable.My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer, but unfortunately, work was calling! I'm already looking forward to coming back, especially during the winter. I can only imagine how incredible it would be to relax in the hot tub or sauna with snow on the ground.I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Sandpoint. Great location, excellent amenities, wonderful privacy, and an outstanding host. Five stars all the way!

The Barrel Retreat was pleasantly clean and had every amenity available for a wonderful, relaxing stay. The bed/bedding was super comfy and provided a good night's sleep. The location is quiet with easy access to downtown, shopping and restaurants. The host checked in on us daily. We definitely recommend this gem!

Great relaxing stay!

Had a good stay for my anniversary, this house is in a quiet neighborhood with a cabin feel inside. It rained and snowed and this house made for a great relaxing getaway. Hosts are great with good communication!

This was the perfect place to stay. It was right in town, close to everything. From the time I booked until checkout, everything went smoothly. The Barrel Retreat is a great spot to stay in Sandpoint if you and is perfectly located whether you just want to hang out in town or you are going skiing at Schweitzer. We will be back!

Awesome getaway

What a great place! Nicely renovated old home with beautiful touches. Loved the welcome packet, coffee & pretzels, and the furniture was really comfortable as well as the bed. Soaking in the spa was a highlight, and drying off with the provided towels felt extra luxurious. Easy to get in and out of the place, and the location was perfect for walking downtown.

Perfect Weekend Schweitzer Trip

Stayed with my gf for a trip to schweitzer. The house was perfect for two, cozy, clean, and private with businesses on each side (the pizza place next door is great too). 25 minutes from the mountain, the sauna and hot tub were great for recovery after long days snowboarding. Will definitely be back soon

The Mountain Town Getaway We Dreamed Of!

From start to finish, this house was absolutely perfect! It was spotless and clean. The backyard with the hot tub and sauna were dreamy, even in the winter! The hosts did not spare a single detail when it came to the design, decor, and the guides they prepared for their guests to reference for things to do, places to eat, etc. It was by far the best VRBO experience we have ever had. Great place and location

We loved our stay. Very clean and well appointed! Very close to downtown Sandpoint. Comfortable bed and we loved the sauna and hot tub. We would have preferred to have a few more blinds/curtains in some of the windows. It is easy to see in, especially from the pizza restaurant next door. The bathroom is not right off of the main bedroom, so you do have to walk by that window to get there.

Such a great location and the hosts were timely and supportive. The amenities were perfect and the beds were comfortable. The sauna and jacuzzi worked well and were clean. We did not bring our dogs but it was sweet how the hosts also planned for dogs to be welcomed and comfortable with a dog bed, dog bowls, and bags for disposal.
