Warm and welcoming the beach house is just steps down to the sand. Imagine…sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the marsh. This spacious beach house offers amazing ocean views and the rhythmic sound of waves crashing. Your group of up to 12 guests will delight in our premier oceanfront location on Moody Beach in Wells, Maine.

Your 4-bedroom private beach escape features a refreshed coastal interior with the amenities to ensure your stay is the relaxed beach vacation you’ve been dreaming of. The open-concept main floor offers room to roam with a comfortable great room featuring a wall of ocean-facing windows— so the sights and sounds of the briny Atlantic can be the centerpiece of your stay. Sofas, occasional chairs and a roomy dining table overlooking the beach make this space friendly and fun. A wine bar with glassware, stemware, and a mini fridge and bar sink provides the perfect spot for beverage services. A well-appointed kitchen, which opens to the great room, includes cookware and utensils, dinnerware, flatware, and glassware. There’s even a lobster pot because we know you want to steam some of Maine’s favorite fare. Pretty marsh views from the kitchen window mean there are water views from every angle. The main floor also has a hall foyer with coat closet, powder room, and laundry closet with stackable washer and dryer.

Bedroom Spaces: Upstairs are three bedrooms, each with a queen bed. One has sliders to a balcony with sweeping views; another has wide windows overlooking Moody Beach and the ocean; and the third, on the street side, has lovely views of the marsh and tidal river. The upstairs landing has a cozy built-in padded bench for quiet moments. A full bath with a tub/shower is located off the landing.

And a lower level is home to the 4th bedroom— a separate bedroom suite with its own entrance through sliders and an interior entrance with stairs up to the main level. This suite has a sofa sitting area, a full efficiency kitchen, a bath with a tub/shower combo, and a washer and dryer.
Sleeper sofas in the great room and the downstairs suite accommodate kids and any ‘extras’ in your group.

Outdoors: The lawn surrounds the house and on the ocean side, a picnic table for Alfresco oceanfront meals and Adirondack chairs for chilling on the lawn watching the waves. Steps down to our private beach space your gang can spread out for the beach days, or evenings, that make a Moody Beach House stay absolute perfection.

Our Location: Wells, Wells Beach, and Wells Harbor are right here. Kennebunk and Kennebunkport and all the local dining, shopping, antiquing, coastal drives, as well as fishing and boating excursions make for a delightful outing for a meal or for a full day of exploring. The house is approximately 2 miles from downtown Ogunquit with its darling shops and eateries, and the entrance to the famed Marginal Way. Just a mile further is historic Perkins Cove filled with local artisan shops & galleries, seafood dining, and the sweet harbor which is a picturesque spot for watching the boats, hopping aboard a sailing charter or lobstering and fishing charter trip.
