These where very nice guest. As mentioned I was able to respond to AC problem within 6 hours and get thermostat back to 70° within 4 hours after that to resolve problem even though I was in the next state just outside DC. No security was withheld on mailbox or even asked for, I just fixed it to keep my neighbor happy. No biggie. I only let my guest know so if they noticed dent in back of a vehicle, they would know where it came from. I probably shouldn't have even mentioned it knowing it was such a quick fix. I think I cost myself a good point and a half in my review. Thanks for your stay Jones family. It was fun to see you children have so much fun while I was doing the repair. I answered all there questions the best I could and was happy to do so. Call anytime. 😎

Lets address this unfortunate review. If there's ever a spot in my carpet when you arrive at my beautiful home, you bring it to my attention, I'll remove it. What I'm saying is, there's never spots in my carpet and it's not part of general cleaning, I only didn't retain part of this groups deposit because of my 4 year record of returning 100% securities. Homeaway holds deposits for 7 days before refunding, that's there policy. I don't know what a oven bowl is, there's popcorn bowls, mixing bowls, cereal bowls, there's lots of bowls, if you ever need anything while staying at my home, please let me know, I'll go out and buy it, but there are lots of pots and pans including one set of Everywhere. 3% credit card reimbursement fee is due to me when returning signed contract, it's stated in last paragraph of property description. No surprise. Black grill is used for charcoal, ( lift lid, place charcoal in, then lighting fluid, light ). Sorry, my home does not come with staff to do this for you. Stainless steel grill is a manual lighting gas grill at this time. You do have to use the hand held automatic lighters I provide to light gas grill. If you ever need a gas grill lighter, please let me know, I'll replace that as well, there's usually a couple provided. I don't monitor gas use. Replacing tanks is renters responsibility as advertised. Play it forward system one might say. As a reminder, any carpet stains that accidently happen in my 🏡 during your stay is your responsibility to remove before you leave, it's not part of the cleaning fee, it's actually considered damage to house. Carpet must be left spot free to not get charged for it. This group received a gift from me by not getting charged. To new quest in my home, thank you for respecting my home and treating it as the special place it is to me. To all, please read all info listing has to offer. Lets address 1 item at a time. 1.1st roll in bathrooms, i provide. As mentioned in listing, paper products are responsibility of renter. 2. As mentioned in listing, Sheets, house towels, & beach towels can be brough by guest to save a bit of money. For a fee, i can provide those muliple item to use. 3.Bikes are available, if there not put out due to inclement weather, as mentioned at check in, all it takes is a text or call to have owner/me who lives across the street to put bikes out for use when needed or desired. This is always gone over at check in. 4. There are no ants in my house, but if house isn't kept clean during stay, meaning food is dropped on floors and not wiped up, or sauces or sugar drinks are spilled on surfaces and not cleaned up, red carpet is being rolled out for pest to join you in your vacation. Ant spray & traps are readily available/provided by me. Just in case. Avoid extra cleaning fees, clean as you go. House should be left in the condition as you entered home at check in. 5. Dryer works, but you must have settings on "cotton" for towels to dry, not "delicates". This is a easy mistake, but happens from time to time. Please, check settings before hitting start. 6. If an item doesn't operate as its supposed to while using my beautiful vacation home, please call or text me. I can't fix anything if i dont know it not working. Please dont tell me at check out. Call or text when you know, ill fix it!
