Family adventure in Tuscany with children, spouses, and 6 grandchildren

Perfect for large family with children of various ages. The pool was a terrific addition after a hot day in the city!

Our stay at the villa was AMAZING! It is the most peaceful and authentic villa you can imagine. The pictures really do not do it justice. Situated in an excellent location to do short day trips by car or train to many of the famous attractions such as Rome, Pisa, Florence, Azerro, San Giamano, Montecantini, Pistoia, Lucca, and Siena will make your stay memorable and diverse.The host, Titti is a delightful person and very accommodating. She met us on our arrival in Pistoia and had us follow her to the villa. Our plane was delayed in Rome causing us to arrive late. Titti picked up a few things for a light supper and breakfast for the following morning, so we did not have to worry about eating.We stayed at the villa for 22 days. Eleven of those days we had all of our kids and grandkids stay with us for a total of 11 quests. The arrangement of the 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms accommodated our family that ranged in age from 6 years old to 71 years old. The second eleven days our family left and we had nine close friends travel and stay with us. This friend group was in their 60s and 70s. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The villa is large enough for everyone to spread out and either be alone, read, or play games. We never felt crowded. The pool is wonderful!There are many great restaurants within a 5 to 20 min. drive. The road leading to the villa is a paved, single lane road with many switchbacks. DO NOT rent a large vehicle!

What a fantastic house with the most amazing view

We stayed 3 families in the house this summer. Pros: • The house is really big and there is plenty of space for 3 families (13 people) where all families can have their own space. 2x2 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the second floor. • Big living room and kitchen on the ground floor. • Aircon in all the bedrooms • The outdoor area is fantastic • The best view overseeing Pistoia – The photos you see is real. • The pool is big and clean • The dining area is covered with good space for 14 people. • Big parking space for 4-5 cars • Close to a lot of daytrips - Pistoia 15 min, Lucca 45 min, Firenze 35 min & Montecatini Terme 30 min. • We had a cook (Alessandro) coming to the house 3 nights – Fantastic Italian specialties There is nothing negative to say about the house, but be aware that the access roads are steep and narrow. We will definitely come back

The View is Stunning

The view from the villa is just stunning! And Titti and Marco could not have been more gracious and helpful! Any time we called needing something, they responded immediately and took care of any problems. The house is spacious with lots of room for everyone. We had two different chefs come to the house to prepare dinner one night and they had been there before and knew how to get there. The owner met me in town when I first arrived and took me up to the villa and showed me how everything worked. Then she went back into Pistoia with me and took me to the market for food. She recommended restaurants and places to go. She was an amazing lady! Someone I would enjoy as a friend. The only recommendation I have is to make sure you have a small car. The roads up to the villa are winding and narrow and there is a narrow tunnel to drive through. If you get a small car, you will have no trouble at all! If you think you need a large car, get 2 small ones! It’s not worth trying to use a larger car! Also, take bug spray. The mosquitoes are bad this year and not all of the windows had screens. I absolutely loved the place and the town of Pistoia. I would stay there again and enjoy immersing myself in the culture! And did I mention the food…

The villa was perfect for our family of 9. The rooms were large and comfortable. The pool was maintained beautifully. The road to and from the villa was definitely not for the faint of heart. You will definitely need a car, smaller the better. The location was very accessible to Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Montecatini, Pietasantre our dinners on the terrace were memorable and the view of the town of Pistoia was fabulous. The host was very attentive and responded quickly. It was a great stay..

Just Great!

We had an amazing holiday in this great house with large pool and plenty of space to house our big family! The support and service was great and we will certainly come back again.

Séjour merveilleux

Très belle villa, calme, confortable, pleine de charme, vastes espaces, piscine magnifique. Propriétaire très sympathique et disponible. Pour famille avec enfants petits, très sécurisée. Villa très bien située, vue magnifique. Accès un peu difficile au début, il faut s'habituer à une route raide et très étroite. Je la recommande vivement.

Delightful Five Days

We were 2 families of 4, with children ranging in age from 12-18. The villa was in a beautiful locale, and each morning, we enjoyed birdsong and a rooster crowing as we had breakfast on the terrace. The views and pool were perfect. We appreciated our host’s quick answers to questions and attention to fixing any problems that occurred. You need to be comfortable driving on narrow and twisting roads (rent a small car, not a big one!), and you will need to bring your own soap and amenities, including extra toilet paper and paper towels. Our host Titti and her brother Marco were very kind. Grazie Mille!
