Perfect for couples or solo travelers looking to enjoy the North Shore, this home is centrally located on 10 acres of private wilderness with walking trails. 15 minutes to Lutsen. 10 minutes to Grand Marais. Dog friendly. Washer/Dryer included.

About the property:
This property sits on 10 acres of birch, aspen, pine and tamarack trees. There are maintained walking trails throughout the 10 acres for exploring.
The rental itself is located above a garage (note that there are steps to the entrance) and is studio style with a full kitchen, queen sized bed, living area with large television and recliner sofa, plus a private bathroom with walk-in shower.
Renters have access to the laundry room which is located within the garage space.

Our second stay here. It’s so comfortable and well supplied. We always have just what we need. Good place for day trips to the multiple state parks nearby. Also love that it’s pet friendly.

This was such a sweet home to stay in! Everything was clean and you could tell that the home was loved and taken care of well. The property was private and quiet- it was a lovely getaway. We could see the northern lights off the porch too! I definitely recommend!

The owners put so much thought and care in their property. It was extremely clean and the owners wemt out of their ways to accommodate for our dog by filling water in the dog bowl and setting out yummy dog treats. We would definitely stay again...Thanks again for the wonderful place to stay!

Absolutely perfect! The trails running through the property were beautiful and well cared for. The home is quaint, cute, and clean with a covered parking option. They had water in bowls waiting for our pups when we got there. Super easy drive to downtown Grand Marais and to Lutsen. 10/10!

The property was spotless and cozy. Small, but a great layout and use of space. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful acreage and just great for the dogs.

Our stay was a perfect retreat into the quiet woods surronding Grand Marias. This place had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and was in close proximity to Grand Marais, Lutsen and many state parks and trails. We are looking forward to our next visit already!

Great time up North

Cabin was just as listed with tons of woods to explore. Everything was great but bring whatever gets rid of flies. They would not stop harassing my dog the second we went outside. Great location in the woods, very quiet and only 9 minutes from grand marais. Would definitely stay there again

Privacy in the woods

This is a wonderful place. A small studio apartment that is so clean an welcoming. For a short 5 hour drive, it really is like camping out in the wilderness. And the dogs love the big field to the west. We will plan next year's trip soon!

North Shore Getaway

This property was delightful. A great place in the woods. We had our dogs along and they loved it. Katie was a wonderful host and was very prompt at responding to questions. The cabin had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here to get the North Shore experience!

Cozy getaway

This was the perfect place for our skiing trip at Lutsen. Short drive to the slopes. Private, quiet and clean. The hosts got back to us very quickly with any questions we had.

Grand Marais stay

Very nice one room apartment with everything one would need. Very nice and cozy with beautiful views out the window. Wish I had had time to explore the 10 acre woods outside.

Playing in the Snow and Gazing at the Stars

We had a great experience. Our goals were to run out dogs in the and watch the stars at night. The place had some nice trails that we were able to run around on. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. We would highly recommend.

Cozy cabin

We had a wonderful stay here for our 4th wedding anniversary with our two dogs! Cabin was clean, cozy, and easy to find. Katie messages back quickly, and was overall amazing! We can’t wait to come back!
