Book this house!!!

This house was amazing! Location was perfect & house itself was better than expected! Pool/hotub were both clean and a great hang out spot. Only a couple minutes to beach access and sound side access. Lots of space in the rooms and everything was perfect! Owners were amazing and communicated so well the whole stay.

Amazing Stay

Family friendly!!

We loved that the house was kid/family oriented. Plenty of toys, games movies for them. The pool was great!!

Beautiful area

We had 5 adults 1 teenager and 2 toddlers. Was large enough for all of us with lots of amenities. Just a short walk to the beach and restaurants

We had a fantastic stay at this house. Definitely will stay here again. Donna was great getting back to us quickly. The house had everything we needed and then some.

A Fantastic Oasis

Our stay at this vacation home was simply outstanding! The property exceeded all our expectations with its spacious layout and top-notch amenities. The private pool and spa were perfect for relaxation, and the game room kept everyone entertained. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like beach towels, bicycles, and ample outdoor furniture. The location near the ocean was ideal, providing easy access to stunning beaches and nearby activities. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive. We highly recommend this property and can't wait to return!

More than enuff!

We truly couldn’t have been more fortunate to have found this gem. It had everything that we needed and more. We enjoyed alternating days between the pool oasis and the beach. I even created a scavenger hunt for our group to play, just based on the incredible amenities that the house featured. The location was exquisite, with a brew thru and ice machine in walking distance! We enjoyed the short walk to watch sunsets at the sound side. Hoping to return annually for our gatherings!

Family vacation

Really convenient location, a lot of stuff around to do and close walk to the beach. The listing is identical to what is listed online. The house literally has everything you need on vacation (kitchen stuff, towels etc). The host is very responsive to messages. My only complaint was the house was not super clean, the floor had a lot of debris on it. There was black dog hair everywhere (including the washer machine) and sand on top of one of the beds.

Home away from Home

We stayed for the weekend and it was our first time to the outer banks! We loved it! It really felt like home! I was my husband and I and our 2 boys . Ages 1 and 4. There was a high chair for us to use that was very convenient! And I loved the high chair - very sturdy! My husband and I enjoyed listening to the radio and playing pool downstairs. With the boys playing on the floor/one in a play pen that was provided there as well! It is very family friendly and the owners were very communicative . We had forgot our beach toys at home so we was very grateful there was some there we was able to use. The pool was nice and very relaxing. I think the only problem or something we ran into , but I don’t think it could have been helped was that the grass in the back yard about the play set had those little “stickers” or “grass spurs” “devil heads” I’m not sure what everyone else calls them. But we had to make sure to wear shoes or something anytime we was walking in the grass or around it or made sure to stay in the sidewalk. 10/10 would most definitely stay again! LOVE OUR STAY!

Clean, entertaining vacation home; in a safe, quiet neighborhood.

This home is clean, tidy and has everything you need for a comfortable, homey feel. They go above and beyond supplying more than other properties as far as plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap and dishwasher liquid. The fridge has condiments stocked so you don’t have to buy all new and then waste. The owners are pleasant and quick to respond to any inquiries and requests. The beach is close, but I wouldn’t recommend walking or riding bikes as you have to cross the super busy main strip, and there are no close stop lights with safe traffic crossing. The beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub most days and on rainy days, the pool and air hockey tables were a lot of fun. In the evenings, we sat in the rockers on the deck and observed how friendly and tight-knit the neighbors residing there are. Overall, it’s a very quiet, pleasant, safe neighborhood and place to stay!

Just enuf sums it up!

The house was okay. It was not quite as roomy or clean as the photos make it appear. The landloard does NOT have the house cleaned professionally between guest rentals. In fact, she asked us to clean it before checking out, then, after we’d cleaned it...she and her sister went to clean it and sent us an email, complaining we hadn’t done as good a job cleaning as she would have liked. Also, the hot tub had been taken down for the winter, so we didn’t have that amenity to use. We felt that since the info makes clear the fireplace is not available in summer, that a sentence should have been added stating the hot tub isn’t available in the off-season. The home is cluttered with stuff and decor is over-done with mixed styles. So, overall we grade this place a solid “C”.” Average. That’s it. The place wasn’t wonderful...it was “just enuf”.

Overall, this was a pleasant post-Christmas getaway with our kids despite some issues that set an uncomfortable tone for the stay. The house was the highlight – great game room, homey atmosphere, fenced in backyard, lovely decor. Unfortunately, my husband and I were disappointed with our first encounter with the owner who was at the house when we arrived. She was verbally very upset by the condition her house was left in by the previous renters and that carried over into our initial meeting. When we walked in with our beagle, it was made clear that there was miscommunication regarding the fact that we were bringing him. There was no greeting, no smiles, no “welcome to my home”, no “have a wonderful stay”. The conversation centered around rules for our stay and rules for our departure. She did waive the extra “pet fee” due to the miscommunication which was kind of her. Under different circumstances, our review would be all positive, but unfortunately our first impression makes it otherwise. Aside from the issues with our stay, the house is very family friendly and makes a nice vacation home for visitors.

Overall, its a great house, we had a great stay. They have bikes to ride, a pool to swim in, a hot tub to just relax in, and a game room with pool, fooseball, and air hockey. We have absolutely no issues with the house, other than we swept up some sand on the floor from prior people. No big deal, we are adults and our arms arent broken. The sand was probably from the sandy yard. The issues came after we left. We spent 2 hours sweeping, vacuuming, and sticky rolling everything we could to clean up any mess(dog hair), left by our dogs. We even covered the furniture in the living room to prevent the dog hair on the furniture. I get a message on our way home stating we are being charged for clean up and damage to the yard. We missed about 5 dog hairs, and the issue with the yard is that its grass and sand. You walk on it, you create divots in it. Just like the beach. So that was what our issues were, so thats why I gave the score I did. Too nit picky over nothing. I dont want to tell anyone not to stay, just becareful if you have pets.

Long weekend trip

We had a great stay! There were 10 of us and plenty of sleeping space for all of us. The house was easy to find and get it. And it had everything we could have needed, kitchen stuff, plenty of towels, pool toys, bikes. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Great vacation!

Had a great stay! There were only 3 of us and we had more than enough room. We brought our 2 dogs along and they enjoyed the fenced in yard. Neighborhood was quiet and easy to navigate to any location desired, from the beach to the sound, restaurants and more. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Great experience

We had a wonderful week and loved the house, yard, and pool! It was so helpful to have the kids toys available at the house for my 3 year old to play with. He was thrilled to see the lawn mower toy and tricycle in the garage and the blocks in the closet. The large fenced yard was great for both my son and our dog. We drove to the beach most days and there was plenty of parking at all the different access points we tried through the week. Great house equipped with everything we needed and more. Thank you!!

Much more than "Just Enuff"

We loved every minute we spent in this house! Donna was great to work with. The house, yard and pool were very clean. This home had more amenities than any other rental we have been to. Directions and house/pet rules were very clear and communicated well. We didn't use the hot tub because we were there in July, but we would have if it it was cooler out. Pool temperature was perfect! It gets sun, but is partially shaded late afternoon, which was great. Same with the deck around the pool, there are shaded areas to sit. The kids loved the bikes (all different sizes for all ages) game room and sand toys. My son really enjoyed the room with bunk beds. We chose to drive to the beach during the day. We had no problem finding free parking. Then we walked to the beach at night to look for ghost crabs (kids loved it). The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. There is a nice bike path that we walked/rode every morning. Stores and restaurants were close by. Can't wait to book again!
