Our cleaning fee covers professional sanitizing, fresh linens, and preparing the home for each guest. We do ask guests to help with a few light tasks before checkout—such as starting dishes, beginning a load of laundry, and disposing of trash via the building’s trash chute. We recommend promptly discarding any food-related or odor-causing trash. We understand this may not match every guest’s expectations, and your feedback is helpful as we continue improving how we communicate these details in our listing and house guidelines. All of the neighboring units are short-term rentals and we work closely with guests and the management office to help ensure everyone has a comfortable experience. Sometimes, guests on vacation can get caught up in the moment and may not realize how their noise is affecting others. In most cases, a simple and courteous reminder is all it takes to resolve the situation and prevent it from disrupting someone else’s stay. Had we been made aware of the issue during your visit, we would have immediately reached out to the neighboring guests and/or the office to address it.
