Situated in the first column of suites from the oceanfront, Whaler 1056 delivers spectacular ocean views that extend deep into the home's interior and can even be enjoyed right from your pillow. This 1BR/1BA 10th-floor suite boasts an expansive 900 sq ft interior outfitted with island-inspired decor, a full kitchen, and updated appliances.

Nestled high above the palms, its private lanai overlooks the soft sands of the world-renowned Kaanapali Beach as well as the resort's lush interior courtyard and pool, offering the perfect tropical retreat to relax and unwind. Additionally, guests will enjoy beautiful vistas of the lush West Maui Mountains.

The fully equipped kitchen has been conveniently stocked with everything you will need during your stay, making it easy to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment. Dine at the air-conditioned, in-suite dining area or in the tranquil Maui outdoors on your large private lanai.

The suite can accommodate up to four guests with a king-size bed in the primary bedroom and a queen-size Murphy bed featuring a comfortable 8" mattress in the living room.

Nestled right in the heart of Kaʻanapali Beach, steps from soft sands and pristine waters, The Whaler boasts one of Maui’s best resort locations. This world-famous beach offers an abundance of shopping, dining, and activities right at your doorstep. Luaus, dinner cruises, snorkel trips, parasailing (summer only), whale watching (winter only), surf lessons, and more are only a short walk away.

Lounge by the sparkling beachfront pool and hot tub or take a dip in the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. A beachside towel desk can assist with gear rentals for snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, and more. Additionally, enjoy a game at one of the tennis or pickleball courts or a workout in the fully equipped fitness center.

The Whaler even has a private entry directly from the resort to Whalers Village, a beachfront mall offering unique boutique and high-end stores in addition to an array of dining options ranging from grab-and-go to fine dining with sweeping ocean views.

Overall, our unit was good, and we'd stay in it again, but there are a couple of maintenance items that do need to be addressed. There are four fluorescent lights in the kitchen, and two of them are out. They could not get them working, possibly because they were too old or because the ballasts needed to be replaced.The refrigerator has no ice maker, so there's a portable one on the counter. That is the minimum level to be acceptable, but in our case, it was rapidly failing day by day. When the unit would cycle, it was terribly noisy. As our two weeks continued, it got louder & louder each day. The TV was not close at all to the ice maker, but the ice maker got so loud that we had to pause the TV until the noisiest portion of the cycle ended, and then we could resume watching. It was highly annoying. They took it away when the maintenance man came to fix it, and he said he'd bring a replacement. The replacement was also broken, so instead, they brought us a bag of ice. As I initially said, despite those two issues, we liked the unit, and we'd stay in it again.

Celebrating a family member’s birthday

This is prob our 8th stay at the Whaler Resort, it’s just a great spot. Spacious rooms and located on a great sandy beach with snorkeling close by. This unit met all of our needs. It hasn’t had the updates that some have had, but that in no way impacted our stay.

Charming Venice apt.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in this sweet and charming apartment. Located off the beaten path in Cannaregio, but walkable to many restaurants and shopping. The apartment was clean and well stocked. The air conditioner worked well but we could have used a fan in the second bedroom. Wonderful stay! We highly recommend.

Visiting Home

We stayed at th Whaler many times and enjoy it We try to pick the unit based on location rather than other considerations. We chose 1054 based upon location, knowing that it had not been renovated. What we did not expect was the mish / mash in the kitchen. A few miixed dishes, knives that wouldn't cut butter, odds and ends of cookware. What a mess Whaler needs to clean outdoor furniture in front of building Otherwise a wonderful visit

Authentic Venice

Just loved staying in this authentic neighbourhood- can’t recommend Allegra’s place enough. Had everything we needed, was clean and very easy to find. Great communications with Allegra helped us plan and enjoy our stay. Highly recommend.

The most perfect stay imaginable!

We could not have asked for more from a stay in Venice. Allegra was so helpful and responded promptly in our communications. The property is exactly as described, if not even more magical. It is somewhat far from the main sights of Venice, but since we visited in the summer, we were hoping for a quieter, more local feel, and that’s exactly what we got, and the walk/vaporetto ride to get to our daily destinations were no big deal. We loved the balconies over the canal, and watching people and boats go by! Do not hesitate to book this property - if our travels ever bring us back to Venice, we look forward to staying here again!

Great location and view

The apartment was in the perfect location to get out of the crowds. Tucked away but still close to everything you could need. The canal views were perfect!!! Enough room for 2 older teens and 2 adults. Would stay again.

Fabulous for our family of five!

We loved our stay here. Just the most amazing location… the loveliest area of Venice we felt, after lots of walking around the city! We adored eating our breakfasts on the balconies overlooking the canals, and we adored eating dinners in the restaurants just across the water! Allegra was so easy to communicate with and she and Luisa were accommodating with our check in and check out times. We would love to return!

Location

The location is amazing. So many wonderful restaurants gelato bakery wine bar and so much more just across the canal. We loved this but beware this also brings loud noise. Be sure to take your earplugs. The apartment is cute but needs some TLC and could be a little cleaner. The door at the bottom of the stairs can be a real problem. Luisa met us at the apartment and she is a very sweet lady but the only thing we could understand when she was trying to give us instructions for the apartment was that she does not speak English. It was very difficult. We rented the apartment for 3 weeks and we were very disappointed when we arrived to see that we did not have a tv or radio as described in the amenities. As a matter of fact the pictures even show the tv in the living room. If we were there for a few days this wouldn’t be a problem at all but when you’re there for 3 weeks you’re not sight seeing all day everyday. Having a tv to watch would be nice on your downtime. Especially when it is clearly listed. With this being said we definitely did enjoy our stay in Venice!!

wonderful apartment in Cannaregio

I spent four fantastic weeks in Allegra's apartment, and it's the perfect location to cover every corner of Venice, with great restaurants and bars across the canal. All amenities were as described - great to have a washing machine - and the kitchen is well stocked and functional. It was cold during my stay so the heating was fantastic. Comfortable beds, plenty of linen, and views from every window. Apart from an initial struggle with the entrance gate everything about the apartment was terrific and I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Stay in Cannaregio

Thank you Allegra for your great hospitality in this picture perfect flat in the heart of Venice. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our four nights in this property. It is well centered in the heart of Venice but was just far away from the main tourist areas to be a welcome oasis away from the crowds. The Cannaregio area is a great place to find amazing food and wine. You are footsteps away from more than a dozen restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Venice.

Zum dritten Mal Casa Allegra

Wir waren nach 2011 und 2013 zum dritten Mal in der schönen Wohnung. Die Lage ist hervorragend in einer ruhigen Gegend. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett. Wir kommen wieder!

great location

The property was in a super location, spacious, private, and very close to all amenities . Excellent supermarkets, bars and restaurants minutes away, and Vaporetti about a five minute walk away. Great fun just looking out the window ,watching the Venetions go about their day, and the various boats on the canal below. A genuine Venetian experience. The property itself, however, needs some upgrading and TLC. For eg. the shower .

Venetian Neighborhood Experience

We wanted the experience of staying in a neighborhood and chose this apartment. It worked out well and we’re glad we stayed there. We didn’t have issues but Allegra was very quick to respond with our couple of questions.

Wirklich bezaubernd

Welch eine Freude eine Weile in Allegras Wohnung leben zu dürfen! Von zwei Kanälen umgeben, mit Blick auf gemütliche Restaurants und Bars sowie dem köstlichsten Eis auf der der anderen Uferseite liegt die Casa Allegra ganz ruhig und etwas versteckt. Aber mit nur wenigen Schritten ist man mitten drin im Trubel der Stadt! Wir wollten Venedig erobern und gleichzeitig ausspannten. Das ging perfekt in der feinen, gemütlichen Wohnung. Sie ist seht gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber, dank Klimaanlage kühl (wenn man es braucht). Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt und wir kommen gerne eines Tages wieder. Einen herzlichen Dank an Allegra!

Great View

The view from this condo cannot be beat. It comes exactly as advertised. The bathroom needs remodeling. The sliding shower doors on the tub may be challenging for those with limited knee mobility. The drop translucent ceiling over the shower had dirt, insects or something else above it. It looked dirty. It also rattled when the wind blew hard outside. I would stay here again with some reservations.
