Our family has rented homes in Port Aransas every year for more than 10 years and has stayed in many properties across the island. The best feature of this home is the second-story deck, which offers beautiful views, a great breeze, and amazing sunsets.Unfortunately, several issues affected our stay. The backyard is not accessible from the upstairs deck, and there is no fence connecting the main entrance to the backyard, making it less suitable for guests with children or pets. We ended up not using the backyard at all.The kitchen has no pantry, the oven is smaller than standard and cooks unevenly, and the coffee maker was slow and unreliable. The TV on the upper deck did not work, and the front door would not consistently latch unless it was locked. When we arrived, we experienced major electrical issues, including flickering lights, appliances not working, and a cooktop burner that failed. Property management responded quickly, repaired the transformer over two days, and replaced the washer and dryer, which we appreciated. While the management team was responsive, the number of maintenance issues significantly impacted our vacation. Because of that, we would not rent this property again.
