Hmm...We stayed at our beach house for 4th of July weekend with friends right after your stay and enjoyed sitting on the outdoor couches and chairs while grilling and had a meal at the picnic table. Nothing was broken. If you let us know what piece of furniture you were concerned with we would be happy to repair or replace it. Our leather sectional sofa does not recline or light up and it is not advertised as such. We reached out to you within hours of your arrival to say that if anything did not meet your satisfaction, to let us know immediately. We did not hear from you your entire 3 day stay until receiving this review. We work hard for the many 5-star reviews we receive and we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations.

Each of your "complaints" were outside of our control. We have never had any issues with theft, not have our neighbors. You said you left your car unlocked and an expensive speaker sitting out on a picnic table unattended. While I am terribly sorry this happened, you could have prevented it. Additionally I explained that if you enter the door code wrong numerous times it will lock for 5 minutes as a safety precaution. I offered you a key instead. We have been booked solid every weekend and so far no other guest has had this issue, including the guest who checked out the day you arrived and left a 10/10 review. I am thankful that despite the user error, you still had an amazing time at our beautiful beach house and were able to make great family memories.

Thanks for the great review Stephanie and we are glad you had a nice trip with your family. I am so sorry it took longer than expected for the house to cool off. The housekeeper turned it off after she cleaned. I sent our AC tech out anyway to make sure our brand new AC system was working properly since we just installed it 2 months ago. He showed me that the air is coming out of the vents at 62 degrees. I have retrained the housekeeping staff on how to use the digital thermostat and instructed them to leave it on.
