This unit was very nicely decorated and comfortable in the bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining area. Bathrooms were clean and easily shared with great shower. The balcony was such a special place for viewing the Gulf and shore birds and listening to the calming sounds of the waves for morning coffee, lunch and night views of the sky. It was perfectly placed for walking to and from the beach. The pool was large, clean and relaxed.

Great condo, just needs a little TLC

Beautiful resort. Great location, beach not crowded. The condo was nice and roomy for 4, however needs through cleaning, sprayed for bugs, and eliminate the moth ball smell. We could not eliminate the odor, even after buying sprays, candles and plug ins. The condo wasn’t cleaned well prior to arrival and we encountered roaches, beetles and millipedes in the condo most of the week. We replaced about 8 light bulbs, however there is one in the master vanity we couldn’t find, but made it hard to get ready. Hopefully this will help prep better for next guest.

Great property. Great location.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing stay here. Great space. Light and airy. Great porch area to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening while listening to the sounds of the waves. Great view of the sunset each night, too! Wonderful, fully-equipped kitchen. Just a few steps from the ocean. Right next to the HUGE pool with lots of seating. Close to restaurants, but not so close that the nightlife intruded on the solitude. It was just lovely. The one and ONLY issue we had the entire week was the very strong mothball smell from the locked main bedroom closet. Nothing to be done but put some dryer sheets around and get used to it. Otherwise, the perfect week!

That is great Tara! pleased you liked your stay at Land's End building 9, unit 201. Glad you found the condo light and airy, as this condo is "Premier" (recently updated) and it didn't disappoint with a wonderful fully stocked kitchen. We apologize if the owner closet had an off putting mothball smell, as we will reach out to them. That is awesome you liked the location of the condo being next to large pool and the location of Land's End was private, but still was close enough to restaurants. We hope you relaxed and had pool/beach time, and will join us again for another perfect week at Land's End.

Great Location, Beautiful accommodations and Property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would definitely rent again. Loved the size of the unit and location away from local beach crowds. Well maintained, gated property. Here are the comments we submitted in writing upon leaving to the rental company.1) When the cable service went out there was no one at the rental office to answer the phone. We resolved the issue ourselves.2) Garbage drawer in kitchen needs to be adjusted so it will stay closed. 3) Sink should have a faucet that will move to both parts of kitchen sink. Fixed at one side now.4. Some lights were not working.5. Kitchen was well supplied for a short stay.6. No starter paper towels.7. Oven is VERY VERY slow to heat.8. Wall art was piled on the coffee table when we arrived. We moved it to the entertainment console.9. Washer/dryer worked well.10. Floors exceptionally clean.11. Furniture could use some updating.12. Kitchen well stocked with cooking items.

Air Conditioner leaking and flooding

We may have just been as unlucky as possible. Out of a 7 day stay at Lands End- only 3 of those days were decent and relaxing. I literally walked in to a flooded kitchen floor on Saturday. The AC unit had been leaking. Also, there was a faulty pipe under guest bedroom and carpet became soaked. We spent 4 days of our vacation dealing with maintenance people and hearing a loud industrial fan to dry out carpet. On top of all of this- the property covered/closed our balcony, so painters could paint outside of building. The property manager offered a small refund, but I feel that we should have gotten at least 50 percent off of those 4 days.
