We absolutely loved our stay—the house was perfect for our family vacation, super clean, comfortable, and had a well-stocked kitchen.The neighborhood was amazing, with so many great restaurants and attractions nearby.We felt right at home and made some wonderful family memories here. We’d happily stay again!

This house was a relaxing and well-appointed home away from home! The beds were comfy, bathrooms beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed. It had parking off the street which felt great, knowing any time we came home we could just head inside to rest. I was able to walk to shopping nearby and took the bus back once I had packages to carry. I would highly recommend this home!

As a frequent traveler and VRBO user this was by far the nicest house we have stayed in. The location was ideal and close to everything we wanted to do. The neighbors were lovely and stopped to talk each night while they were walking there dogs. The house was recently renovated and it was done very well. We really felt like we were at our own home. Anything we could have needed the house had. The backyard was great to enjoy a glass of wine and the wonderful weather. We are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend. 5 stars!!!

Our stay was wonderful. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished, with an excellent layout and amenities (great kitchen and bathrooms). Nice back garden area too, with outside seating/dining and a fire pit. The location was great for us, with access to many of Studio City’s attractions within walking distance or an easy drive. The house is on a pleasant and quiet residential street. Off street parking works well.

What an incredible home. We couldn’t have asked for more. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Pretty backyard area with firepit and lounge chairs. Centrally located to everywhere we needed to be. Terry was extremely helpful and available. This is definitely our go-to home when we visit L.A. 12 out of 10!

Five stars! We had a fantastic stay at Terry’s. The house is in an adorable neighborhood and close to everything in the valley.The layout was incredibly functional for a larger group, especially with kids in tow. The house was clean, well-stocked, and the outdoor space was a huge highlight—it felt private and safe for the little ones to run around. The host was very communicative and made the check-in process seamless. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor and the amenities. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a stress-free getaway. Thank you for a wonderful week!

We had the best stay at Terry's property! Communication was excellent from start to finish. Nothing seemed to be any trouble for these wonderful hosts and the house is fitted out with the highest standard of fixtures and fittings. The interior is beautiful, the neighbour hood idyllic. This is hands-down the best vacation rental experience we have ever had!We were a group of 7 people across 3 families traveling from Japan, and every single one of us had an absolutely comfortable and wonderful 4-night stay.The house itself is an authentic 1940s home, beautifully furnished on the inside. It is located in a great, very friendly neighborhood.We thoroughly enjoyed taking walks every single morning just to admire the cute houses and nearby gardens.The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped—it truly has absolutely everything you could possibly need. All the beds in the three bedrooms were very comfortable. Additionally, each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, fully stocked with fluffy towels and plenty of amenities. The shower water pressure was excellent, and above all, the entire place was spotlessly clean and meticulously well-maintained.Most importantly, communication with the owner was incredibly smooth, from our very first inquiry before booking all the way through to our final updates right before arrival. We are so grateful for Terry’s amazing hospitality.Thank you for a perfect stay!

Wonderful home and location

My husband and I were looking for a place we could stay for a few days to relax after a very hectic couple of months and Terry and Dave’s home was perfect. The house itself is warm and welcoming. We could tell that they are experienced hosts by how it is set up. The neighborhood is very walkable, and less than a mile from Ventura boulevard for shopping. And if you like sushi (and we do!), further east on Ventura boulevard is known as sushi row! All and all we enjoyed our stay very much and plan to visit again.

A wonderful home from which to base a wonderful vacation. We stayed five nights with three adults and two granddaughters, ages 7 and 9. The home was even more comfortable than it appeared in the online photos. It is newly remodeled with great care and style. We relaxed after long days at Universal and the beach with food and snacks from the well-equipped kitchen, watched movies, and played games in the cozy family room and dining area.The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable mattresses. Three bathrooms, each with a shower, made getting ready for the day easy—there was plenty of room and hot water for everyone.The neighborhood is beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and walkable. The backyard was nicely outfitted and offered a quiet place for privacy. The location for visiting Universal Studios is great; it was a quick 10–15 minute drive to the parking lots and just a little longer coming back. Nearby groceries, gas, and food made everything easy. We loved the home and our stay. Can’t recommend it enough!

Beautiful home, amazing location!

Took our family on vacation for first time in California and could not be happier to have found this place! It’s in the center of all we wanted to do so it was perfect. The house was incredible. Even better than the pictures. Super clean, decorations were lovely, it had everything we needed and more. The hosts were very communicative and responsive. Gave awesome recommendations for dinner, etc. They definitely went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and we could not be more appreciative! Highly recommend

To say we were speechless at how nice this property was would not be hyperbole. We have stayed at properties all over the world and this was most likely the nicest short term rental we have ever stayed in. It is not a stretch to call this the Ritz Carlton of short term rentals because it was. It was spotless. The furnishings are gorgeous. It was well equipped with everything anyone could want (in our case that also included a nice guitar- check) there are thoughtful touches all over the place. (Nightlights. Outlets. High end shampoo and soaps, quiet place to work, beautiful towels, etc). The bedding is over the top beautiful. And to top it off: Terry and Dave are super helpful and just plain amazing. We are coming back for sure. Warning: staying here is going to spoil you and make every other short term rental seem wanting. And no I was not paid or even asked to write this. I have two short term rentals of my own and I thought I was good at this. Boy, did I get my butt kicked!! Thank you Terry and Dave for sharing your wonderful home with us. It really made our trip one to remember.

Picture perfect

Staying in this home is so comfortable! We stayed for 8 nights. The home has the most comfortable beds and many great spaces to curl up with a book. A charming backyard and front porch. A kitchen stocked with high quality appliances and cookware. The pictures represent the listing perfectly. The neighborhood is cute and conveniently appointed. You will not regret this booking! The communication was great with owners as well and they even sent over an outdoor mist fan which was perfect for the summer heat when enjoying the backyard. We will definitely book again on our next visit.

I took a family of four (two adults and two teenagers) and this house was perfect. The teenagers had their own rooms and bathrooms, which made the trip much more enjoyable. I think it's rare to such a good space configuration in LA, especially in a rental.Relatedly, the attention to detail and level of furnishing in the owner's remodel is outstanding. We've rented a lot and this house really shows care and love. I was honestly shocked at how nice the kitchen is. Communication with Terry is excellent and she is a very gracious host.I can't say enough about the neighborhood. If you are thinking about staying for tourism at Universal, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, this location is great: very easy to get to the highways or the canyon roads to Beverly Hills.This neighborhood is extremely walkable. We walked to Whole Foods, Ralphs, Erewhon, local coffee shops, restaurants.Finally, the back yard - amazing. You will not want to leave.

Great Place to Stay

10/10We thoroughly enjoyed Terry and Dave’s Studio City home. It provided ample space for my husband, myself and our twenty something daughter to reunite and visit with my brother and sister-in-law after not seeing each other for several years. The layout allowed for lots of privacy for our two families, and warm inviting spaces to hang out when we wanted to be together. The home is beautifully appointed with modern finishes and amenities, and the hosts were super responsive when we had questions. When my daughter wanted to play the piano and we couldn’t remove the keyboard cover, Terry had her piano tuner there in under an hour to fix it! The home is in a great area, super-accessible for things we wanted to do around LA, with easy access to the 101 and 405 freeways, as well as the Canyons, (Coldwater, Laurel and Beverly Glen). The proximity to Whole Foods, Ralph’s, Gino’s East Pizza, Hugo’s and Hugo’s Tacos made figuring out meals a breeze. We also appreciated the extra touches, like night lights in every room, fresh fruit and flowers in the kitchen/dining area, and the workout room with a Peloton. Really comfy beds too! The yard was beautiful and relaxing for meals and chatting. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
