What a superb villa in a beautiful spot. We were a family of 13 and the property was perfect - enough space for all, excellent pool, great terrace with amazing views. Emilia was so helpful and friendly, giving us advice on places to eat, where to shop etc. The villa was lovely and clean and equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommended

Fantastic villa with great pool and beautiful view

We had a lovely stay in this villa close to Frigiliana. Emilia was a great host and very responsive to any questions. The view from the terrace over Frigilana is beautiful and the 10x5m pool is amazing! Nerja is well worth a visit, the beaches are around a 20-30min drive away depending on traffic.

Amazing stay in beautiful setting

We were an extended family- from late seventies tk babies and all in between. The villa/casa rural was absolutely amazing. The views of the surroundings and Frigiliana town are incredible. Emilia made sure we had arrived safely, touched base to let us know there was a town festival whilst there - so to show our reservation to be let through and for recommendation on which acts and actvities to participate in. The house has tons of space for sleeping, relaxing and socialising. Bedrooms across three areas, pool, bbq, ping pong table and garden. Some have commented on the steep roads to get there- yes it is curvy- you are in a mountain area-but everyone drives carefully and respectfully. Emilia was an amazing host - great recommendations on where to eat, shop, sites and beaches to visit. We would love to go back some day

Family holiday

Beautiful villa with stunning views ! Clean, lots of space, great pool. Not ideal if you plan on going out of the Villa much as the location is high in the mountains so if you are a nervous driver already don’t drive. Cabs are not happy to collect from the villa so will drop you as close as possible which can be tricky if you have children, bags etc. our transfer from the airport was a mini bus and wouldn’t take us all the way. We had a 15 minute walk with 4 children ( 2 in pushchairs ) plus 10 suitcases up and down steep roads in the heat. Once at the Villa it was a lovely holiday. I would recommend if you are looking for a peaceful safe week in a villa and do not plan many outings. :)

Thank you very much Chloe for your assessment, I am sorry for the inconvenience of the airport taxis, which only want to circulate on the main roads, but the Frigiliana Taxi ,if they do. I m understand you , The truth is that if you do not want a complete withdrawal, it is necessary to have some vehicles, especially when there are small children, so that the stay in our house is more comfortable. I hope the good memories remain. My greetings to the whole family. Emilia

Super fin til 12 mennesker. Smuk udsigt, have med pool.

70 years anniversary with the family

The property and its surroundings were perfect for us - 7 adults and 3 girls from 1 to 3 years of age. As the temperature in late September is quite nice in southern Spain, the gathering places outside are important. They were all perfect - the pool, the grill-place etc. And the view towards the beautiful small town, Frigiliana and the nearby mountains as well. The cleaning of the whole property could not have been done better upon arrival, and the hostess made us really feel welcome. It was a great stay for all of us.

Beautiful villa - perfect

Such a beautiful villa perfect for our group of girls and so clean and well kept. I booked the villa last minute due to the original villa having to cancel our reservation. I needed something big enough for 14 at such short notice. Emilia was super quick to respond and allowed us to pay in 3 parts as we had to wait for our deposit to be returned to us. We arrived at the villa, Emilia and Manuel were there waiting for us. The villa was so clean, had everything we needed and the beds were sooo comfortable. Manuel offered to take some of us to the local supermarket and then the next day came to show us how to make proper sangria. He brought us red wine and all ingredients, this personal touch really made our day before we headed to Nerja. All 14 of us wanted to stay longer and all would got back to visit again. Defiantly worth every penny <3 thank you for a wonderful stay x

Fantastic holiday in a Frigiliana

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. We were a party of 16 with an age range of 1 - 70! All of us loved the villa. It had everything we needed: 7 very well appointed bedrooms, lovely balconies with tremendous views down to the sea and up to the mountains, a very well equipped kitchen and lots of choices where to eat or relax. Outside there was a beautiful garden and pool and BBQ area and the cooling breezes from being up on a hill made the August temperatures very bearable. Emila and her son Manuel couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - providing a table tennis table for us & offering advice on local restaurants and place to visit. Manuel has a wine tasting and tapas bar in Frigiliana which is very well worth a visit. Altogether it was a fantastic holiday for all of us and we'd all love to go back.

Semanas maravillosas

Riesen Haus, tolle Lage, spitzen Pool!

Like a small Moorish Palace

I chose this house to celebrate my 50th birthday with my family the first week of July . We enjoyed the rooms, everyone with its own personality, the verandah and the different terraces and balconies overlooking varied views. The first class furniture, decoration and abundance of facilities makes this house unique. The large swimming-pool surrounded by thick grass was a favourite with everybody any time of day or night. Being 500 meters over sea level, the house is blessed with breeze from the mountains or from the sea , so you don´t suffer from extreme heat sensation. Very well situated to visit Frigiliana, Nerja or nearby villages and beaches. Very near the motorway to the west to Malaga or to the east-north to Granada. The owners, Emi and Paco, are extremely friendly and eager to help or inform about the area. They keep the house spotless and specially insist that trees and different fragant plants grow around the house. My idea is to repeat the satisfying experience in a near future.
