Very quiet neighborhood. Accessable to beach, grocery, local restaurants. It was great to be able to cook for ourselves when we wanted to. Very comfortable.

It was a great place, the air conditioning was super cold and a quick message they were able to remotely increase the temperature which was wonderful. The only complaint, and it is very minimal, is that the people staying upstairs walk very aggressively and it sounded like they were rolling stuff around quite often… Other than that we had a wonderful time and it was a perfectly acceptable walk to the beach from there.

There was no iron or ironing board. There was a musty smell in the house. The kitchen curtains were dirty and so were the utensils. When we arrived the bathroom toilet was not flushed and it had toilet paper with dead bugs on it. The biggest bedroom linens said someone hair on it.

It was an awesome stay. Jody was a great host and the home was very clean and stocked. The only issue was the upstairs occupants. They walked all night and made it difficult to get our rest.

Sparkling clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated place! Plenty of private parking in the lot out front. Comfortable, cozy furniture with plenty of pillows and blankets. Plenty of towels provided; the makeup removal cloths are a nice touch! Plenty of lighting options/lamps. A/C works great! The daybed is a bit squeaky, but that’s the only negative. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great 3 night stay here. Best features included about a 10 minute walk to the 12th street beach, 5 minute walk to the islands lone grocery store, access to some beach equipment in the backyard, and spacious 1st floor layout. Great communication by the host. One thing to note... if there is someone staying in the 2nd floor space, you can hear every foot step they make which could be annoying at times. Overall, very positive experience.

Beach Bum Weekend Stay

Beach Bum weekend was a blast; highly recommend visiting Tybee for this event. House was easy to walk to restaurants & beach; would bring a wagon, walk to the beach is a little much with beach gear. Would stay here again!

Traveled with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit is large and was very clean. There were only two of us on this trip but the unit could have easily accommodated more people. The pictures for the unit were very accurate. The unit is nicely decorated and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen met all our needs and the ac was incredible after a hot day on the beach. We did need to contact the host who replied promptly and was very helpful. This is a downstairs unit and there was someone staying in the upstairs unit. We could hear them walking around but they weren't loud. It was typical of upstairs/downstairs living and does not deter us from considering this property for another stay.

First time staying at this house and it made our Tybee trip that much better. From the full kitchen to the comfy sofa, big bedrooms and of course the AC! Can't forget the Grateful Dead love sprinkled around. Made us Deadheads that much happier! We know where we are staying the next time!
