We very much enjoy hosting our returning guests, and are pleased you enjoyed the house! We put our 17+ years of experience from our other Manzanita vacation rental in the design and remodeling of this house. Large area to arrive and deposit all your belongings and not have to worry about sandy feet plus nice covered enterence for those rainy days, cozy with great heaters for cold days yet large windows to throw open in great weather. Two expansive decks with wonderful views. A well equipped kitchen with a huge dining table seating 10 for fun gatherings and lots of wonderful vacation memories. We look forward to having you return for another relaxing vacation!

Glad you enjoyed our Oceanside Modern Cabin. This is a favorite house of many of our regular guests, who also love to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves and the killer views. We appreciate you enjoyed the beds, the results of our recent remodel, and the amazing views. We try to be as up front as possible regarding costs and expectations - the cleaning fee and expectations are listed in our quote and rental agreement. We encourage all guests to review the rental agreement and let us know if there are questions or comments beforehand. Or, after discussing expectations, our guests have the opportunity to first consider if the house is really right for their vacation. For instance, the cleaning fee and departure instructions. We follow the normal departure procedures as the rest of the local Manzanita Beach vacation rental community. Our guests deposit garbage, take care of dirty dishes, and start a load of laundry before departure. As they would with the other vacation rentals in the area. These procedures allow for a full house to be cleaned from top to bottom between guests, allow for a reasonable departure time for current guests, and a reasonable arrival time for arriving guests. When you think of how long it takes to clean after 10 guests, the laundry, three bathrooms and a full kitchen - that's a lot to cover! Regardless, we always hope to make a good match between our house and vacationers. We're hoping the good outweighed your disappointment regarding departure procedures, and that you had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. We appreciate you taking the time to offer feedback!

Just steps away from the wonderful seven mile Manzanita beach, three blocks to the main street of Manzanita, stroll to the city park with basketball and tennis courts in addition to a play area, a bike ride to the state park, a short ride to the local golf course, terrific hiking, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, boogie boarding and surfing, and lots more.
