Smukt udpeget og med uhindret panoramaudsigt over havet er Sea Star # 1 et ideelt sted at bo hos venner og familie i Manzanita! Sandstrand og ocean surf er skridt på tværs af vejen ud foran og hovedgaden i landsbyen med sine restauranter og butikker er kun tre blokke væk, hvilket giver dine gæster masser af ting at gøre lige ud af hoveddøren. Kæmpe hvælvede lofter i det store rum ser ud til havet, fra Tillamook Head til det smukke Neahkahnie Mountain. En brændeovn og masser af komfortable møbler samt stereoanlæg og et stort fladskærms-tv giver den anden etage stuen; spisestuen har samme havudsigt og forbindelse til udendørs dæk med grill og spisestue møbler. Der er et fuldt udstyret køkken til nem måltid prep. Soveværelset på dette niveau har en queensize-seng og en udendørs balkon. We liked the house. As far as improvements: the house needs new quality linens and towels - ideally ones that all match rather than many random sizes and patterns. Same for pillows and mattresses. The signal for the tv constantly comes and goes so hard to watch programs. The pictures give the impression that the house is right on the beach but there is a road separating the house from the beach that has many RV ‘s on it which detracts from the view. All in all a good location, excellent kitchen and views and the bedrooms and bathrooms are acceptable.

Being across the street from the beach and a short walking distance to town made this the perfect location. We had a great view of the beach from family room and kitchen area. The sleeper sofa was fairly new and comfortable. The only glitch was no bedding was provided for the sleeper. Host responded and bedding was delivered. However, after we opened the bedding bag it contained a sleeping bag & several pillow cases. Not sure what that was for. So we made due by rounding up some loose sheets & blanket provided for the other beds. The kitchen was updated which was a plus. We would certainly stay here again.

A blessed time

Huge view and cozy fire

We came for our grand dogs 5th birthday. Maple was worn out with two big walks/runs on the beach. Nice to get together with our adult kids.

Great Place

Great place great location a little smaller than photos. Only complaint needs new taller toilets more hot water for showers and better internet. Other than that we had a great stay and trip.

Fantastic Views

Phenomenal location and views!!! The deck and wooden stove were a nice touch. The carpets, furniture, and kitchen need updated but overall it’s a great property. I would recommend this property 6 people or less.

Great location!!

This is a great house - right across the street from the beach and only short distance to downtown. We didn't have to use our car once we arrived. Views of the ocean from the living room, dining room and kitchen were outstanding. The only thing that could have made this better was a hot tub, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, and the location is ideal, directly across from the beach. Beautiful ocean views from the giant picture window and from the balconies, including a smaller, more secluded side balcony set among the trees, just off the primary bedroom. The upgraded kitchen is really lovely. There were extra leaves to extend the dining table, and extra chairs stored up on the wall in the garage. Eclectic global decor throughout the rest of the condo.

Lovely place

All the comments about it being shabby and having a leaking ceiling are wrong - or at least out of date. The place was lovely, the upstairs bed very comfortable. There were complaints from those who slept downstairs about uncomfortable beds and pillows. A pain to cross the street to get to the beach with our dogs but you couldn't see the street from the living room - just the ocean. Perfect!

Amazing House!

We loved this house! It was slightly outdated with furniture but no issue to how we felt being there. Would have liked a dead bolt on the home since the lock box key code is available for everyone who has stayed there. The dead bolt would be an added layer of safety for those in the home.

Manzanita home

Great location and we enjoyed the home. I did not know when I booked the rental that it was a side by side/2 rentals, I thought it was a single rental home. If it was in the listing I missed it. The pictures I viewed had a room with a bed and bunk beds which I assume was from the other side of the home.

Great location, I think we got the back-up cleaning crew

Location is super great, everything else felt a little off.Found an e-cigarette laying around, old food under the couch, lipstick on on glassware. I had to fixe one of the roller blinds that would only go half way up (somebody rolled it up backwards). Also, I have decided to start knocking stars off of locations that ask you to strip the beds...what are we paying a cleaning fee for?

Duplex

Views were great from balcony, dining table, and living room. Downstairs queen bed was very firm and downstairs shower needs to be caulked it leaks on the floor when you shower. Wifi is very weak not working most of the time. Checkout is early, 10am. Location is great and beach was awesome! Would consider staying again but not a slam dunk.

The property was not available last minute and the property substituted by the local rental group was not acceptable (far less desirable and a horrible smell). I have been working with that local rental group and they have not been helpful. I'd like VRBO to engage as I feel at least a partial refund is in order.

It was clean. Since there was a larger group, primarily used the house as a place to sleep, shower and do some work. The second night,there was a storm with heavy winds. Ceiling, probably roof leaked in several places, we placed sauce pans to catch drips. Notified the phone number on instruction sheet the next morning.
