Common area of kitchen, living room and dining area were perfect for our group to hang out and look out the windows at the ocean. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to spread out. Deck, views and beach access were fantastic. Recommended.

A great home for large family gatherings

We had 11 people in our party, ages 1-68, and everyone enjoyed the amenities provided by this owner. The kitchen is well stocked, and the bedrooms are large. I love the vintage bathroom fixtures. The proximity to the beach is fantastic, and there aren't enough words to describe the incredible view.

A wonderful beach retreat house!

Clean space, plenty of beds, beautiful views, great kitchen, and comfortable living room. And a quick walk to the beach!

There is a musty smell inside and I think a urine smell outside. The musty smell is likely old wood at the beach where moisture is a constant. The urine smell can be overwhelming when the living room windows are open upstairs. Likely wildlife or dogs. Who knows. Otherwise, everything was great. Even the service on the kitchen fawcet was timely and efficient. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback! We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that we were able to get the kitchen faucet issue taken care of quickly and efficiently. Thank you for letting us know about the musty smell. We’ll add an additional dehumidifier to the home to help with that. Being an older beach home, there can sometimes be a bit of an older wood scent, but we’ll certainly do what we can to keep the home smelling fresh and comfortable. As for the smell outside, it was most likely from Velella velella washing up along the beach. When they wash ashore in larger amounts, they can create quite a strong smell, especially when the windows are open. It’s just one of those occasional natural beach smells that comes with being right on the coast! Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We really appreciate it and hope to welcome you back to the coast again!

We prepared many large meals and all cooking needs were available - pots and pans, baking and serving dishes, etc. All in our family said their rooms and beds were comfortable. We appreciated the large dining table and multiple bathrooms. The property manager was very friendly and helpful before and during our stay.

Large home good for families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Large family-friendly home with lots of space, very good beds, easy beach access, on the quieter northern end. Easy but longish (20 min?) walk via beach or road to town. Well-appointed and equipped with nice decor. Large open plan iving room and kitchen are updated but rest of the house is not so don't expect high-end finishes and furniture- bathrooms are dated but are clean and function. Not a luxury home but clean and comfortable. LR/kitchen heated with electric baseboard; bathrooms and some bedrooms with older wall heaters. Lovely private back yard, deck, and garden with creek. View is ok- telephone poles & wires obstruct clear sightlights to ocean. Had minor electrical issues with some appliances but management was fast to respond.

Perfect spot for a family reunion

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We brought three families together to gather here and had the most wonderful time. The kitchen was well stocked and comfortable for preparing food for the large group, open to a spacious dining table and open concept living room that allowed everyone to be near. There were plenty of bedrooms, all comfortable. Our older children enjoyed the foosball table and younger children enjoyed the scooters and all the sand toys for the beach. The deck looks over the ocean views and is glorious, the backyard is a little oasis with creek running through. We are grateful to have found the home and highly recommend it for anyone gathering a group together!
