We loved our stay! This home had everything we needed, including a private fenced-in yard. The location was perfect—within walking distance of The Hill and just a quick drive to the Arch and Forest Park. The home was comfortable, convenient, and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again!

For reference, our home has three bedrooms, as clearly shown and described in the listing. Unfortunately, this guest caused over $1,200 in damages, smoked inside the home despite our no-smoking policy, checked out approximately three hours late, and did not complete the checkout instructions. The condition of the property required extensive additional cleaning, and we ultimately had to refund the incoming guest because the home could not be turned over in time. After five years of hosting, this was an exceptionally difficult stay. We stand behind our property and the experience we provide, and our reviews across multiple booking platforms are a much better reflection of the home and the experience our guests consistently receive.

What a cute little place!! We came into town for a bowling tournament, there was 6 if us. The place was very clean and comfortable. The beds are fantastic. Our host was amazing, making sure we had everything we need and that the house was ready for us. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Our stay in St Louis at Cielo Casa on "the hill" was fantastic. I cannot say enough about our host Adam! He is very responsive and took great care of us along with great suggestions as this was our first time in St Louis. The property is centrally located and easy to get downtown to the arch and Cardinals game. A very short drive to Forest Park which includes an amazing zoo and art museum which are both free! How does that happen?! Also, a quick drive to original AB plant which is a fun tour. The hill really is a great fit for us as it is the "little Italy" of St Louis with amazing deli's, coffee shops, plaza and restaurants. We really enjoyed Shaw Coffee, Gioia's deli and Milo's. The property is an older home as you would expect in this area and is well maintained. Only caution I would advise on is lots of steps, although that was fine for us. Parking is easy in front or the back of the property through the alley. Adam takes good care of the property, and you can see the work that has been done. I highly recommend this property and this area.

Adam was very easy to communicate with and the house has had some recent updates that are very nice. The neighborhood is an up and coming neighborhood but very quiet (besides traffic noise from the nearby highway). The steps to the house from the back are a bit tricky so if you have troubles with stairs, this probably isn't the home for you. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and our dogs enjoyed the yard!

Just like many houses on The Hill their nature is to be elevated shotgun style homes -- we agree stairs are a part of many of our century homes. Convenient Location

Host was very helpful and accommodating! Updated decor and clean. Met our needs. Be aware, bedroom on upper level between living room and kitchen lacks privacy, bathroom is on this level and other two beds are downstairs.

Experienced The Hill

My family took a quick weekend vacation together to visit friends who live near Tower Grove Park. Adam’s place was exactly what I expected. Even though Adam had everything our family needed pack and play, high chair, games for all ages, etc, the house layout concerned my wife a tad too much. Exterior doors near every bedroom did not provide the typical security that we would expect for kiddos. All in all, we were safe and we would be safe in all future stays. Based on the layout of the house I would reccommend this to a family with older kiddos who wanted to see the zoo, city museum, and a baseball game for the weekend. Having younger kids made things a tad tougher than usual. But I knew what I was getting myself into because I needed the location. If you are a couple who wants to get away for the weekend, this location is perfect because of the location to good food, Modern Brewery and parks!! Thanks Adam!

We had an extended weekend w/ 3 adults & 2 dogs. Gaining access to the home was easy. Adam was a good host! All was clean & more than enough space. Comfy beds & bedding. We loved the outlets in the side tables by the beds, very handy. They kindly left a little snack basket in the kitchen, a few cute toiletries in the bathroom, & a list of local suggested places. WI-FI is very good.Things to note: 2 bedrooms are open on one side. Not a problem for us, but definitely something I would want to know. The back yard is all fenced with a wooden privacy fence, perfect for our pups. There's a baby gate there that was a great help. We used it at a doorway to keep the pups separated & quiet at night since there is no door on the upstairs bedroom to close. Be careful on the stairs to the basement bedrooms! We all hit our heads a few times, since the ceiling height is low there. No trouble for kiddos though! Parking in the front is on the street. The parking in the rear is behind the fence, which has a walkway declining to the back yard fence gate. We were a little confused by the rear parking, since it looked like it might be the neighbors. But Adam answered our questions about it. We couldn't hear the ring doorbell when a friend came to pick us up.We all liked the old house bones with modern upgrades such as a digital thermostat.Would definitely recommend & stay here again!
