This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with VRBO. From the beginning, the host showed a complete lack of professionalism. Communication was extremely slow, and when responses were received, they were rude and unprofessional.We dropped our belongings off at the property and returned around midnight, only to find that we could not access the room using the code provided by the host. We attempted to contact everyone possible for help, but received no resolution. As a result, we were forced to sleep in our car.Instead of showing any understanding, the host stated they would issue a refund and then questioned why we didn’t get another hotel. At that point, it was between 1–2 a.m., and all of our belongings were locked inside the rental, making that suggestion completely unreasonable.This situation was unacceptable and extremely stressful. To make matters worse, I still have not received any follow-up or confirmation regarding the promised refund. If I could give zero stars, I would.
