This one bathroom home features one bedroom, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, washer and dryer, and an additional mini-fridge in the bedroom.

The living room features a cozy couch and a television where you can add in your streaming service and watch your favorite shows. Additionally, there is a table and chairs for dining or doing remote work. The home has an open concept living room and kitchen combo, creating an efficient common space.

The bathroom has the necessities including a hair dryer, tub and shower combo, and a washer and dryer.

Your new bedroom is not only a restful retreat, but also has a television, board games, and books available to entertain yourself.

Guest Access:
Our home is contactless seamless and easy self-check in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. No request is too big or too small for our team and we strive to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Don't hesitate to ask.

The Neighborhood:
The Capitol Hill neighborhood is known for its historic charm and lively community atmosphere. Capitol Hill is renowned for its well-preserved 19th and early 20th-century rowhouses, contributing to the area's unique architectural character. This location offers convenient access to various amenities and attractions, enhancing the urban living experience. The property is just two blocks from a metro station, facilitating easy commutes throughout the city. Located approximately five blocks away, Eastern Market is a historic public market offering fresh produce, local crafts, and a variety of dining options. Conveniently, there is a Safeway that is located only 0.5 miles from the property. Additionally, about five blocks from the property, discover Barracks Row, a bustling commercial strip featuring a diverse selection of restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues.

Getting Around:
This home is only a one-minute walk from the property to Potomac Ave Metro station.

There are e-scooters and e-bikes throughout Washington, D.C. Users can locate and unlock scooters via the mobile app for short trips. The walking score is a 94 out of 100, making the neighborhood extremely walkable and easy to accomplish most errands on foot and enjoy nearby amenities, transit, attractions, and gorgeous restaurants.

We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:

1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.

2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.

For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.

Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.

What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) This is a pet free home. If you are bringing pets, please reach out to our Guest Services Team who will gladly recommend pet friendly homes to you.

4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.

5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.

6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

Interaction with Guests:
Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. If you are booking a flat for over 30 days, you will be provided with the standard tenant package as required under DC law and be required to acknowledge receipt of the same. The terms of our Agreement will remain as agreed to on the Air BnB platform, and anything implied under DC law. Please note that the building has ring cameras monitoring and recording the exterior and common areas of the building at all times. Sojourner pet fee is $75/pet/wk or $75/pet for stays under one week. Guests staying longer than 6 weeks pay a flat fee of $450. Guest is responsible for all indoor and outdoor cleanup related to furry friends staying at the property. If additional cleaning is required to remove signs/smells of the pet, an additional cleaning fee will be applied. For stays over 5 weeks please inquire about the pet fee. Our properties require Sojourn to collect the name and picture of government-issued photo ID for each guest. When requested, guest agrees to provide this information or the reservation will be cancelled. For the comfort of our guests and team members, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted inside or within thirty (30) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke your card can be charged and your security deposit will be forfeited. Sojourn will contact the booking service, terminate your stay and post the appropriate review. Parties and events are strictly prohibited.
