Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great corner unit with endless views up and down Solana Beach on new patio furniture. Ocean breezes kept us very comfortable despite a hot spell while we were there. Enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub every day. New stove installed during our stay. Ample space for our family of 7! Beach chairs too rusty to use but Stubbs provided what we needed. Enjoyable week!

My family of 5 visited the area for a soccer tournament. Our flight didn’t get in until late. We had to pickup the rental keys and paperwork from the rental office prior to going to our condo. It would’ve been preferable to have a keyless entry., so we could’ve done directly to our unit. The unit was clean, but had an overall odor like maybe it hadn’t been opened up in a while. We did find some trash under beds from a previous stay. No dish towels or dish rags were provided. The furniture was older and worn. Overall I feel like it’s probably time to make some modern upgrades to the unit. Now the good part. Our stay was magical. The location of this unit, along with the views, ocean breeze and access to the beach was wonderful. We had all the necessary amenities, all of which functioned beautifully. Communication with the rental company was great. The rental company was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again. Thanks for the memories.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Outstanding location and ocean views with well-equipped, clean rental property. All sliding screen doors could use replacement as opening them requires feats of strength. Several of the window shutter louvers are broken and most shutters don't close properly likely due to moisture warping over the years. Overall, a nice property.

My wife and I travel from Scottsdale to Del Mar 5–10 times during the summer and have rented numerous condos, homes, and hotel rooms along the coast. Unfortunately, this was by far our most disappointing experience.The biggest issue was that we felt baited and switched by Stubbs Real Estate regarding the air conditioning. The property was advertised as having Central AC & Heat, which was a major factor in our decision to rent it. When we arrived, however, there was absolutely no central AC—not even AC vents or a thermostat. We spent 30–45 minutes searching for controls before realizing the advertised air conditioning simply did not exist.The condo was unbearably hot and humid, reaching roughly 85–90 degrees during the day. It smelled damp and musty, several baseboards appeared damaged from moisture/rot, and the unit was dirty when we arrived, including dirty dishes. That was especially frustrating considering the cleaning fee guests are charged.The photos and listing did not accurately represent the condition or amenities we experienced. We specifically rented a property advertised with central air and arrived to find there was none.We love Del Mar and visit frequently, but after this experience, we would be extremely hesitant to rent through Stubbs Real Estate again. Advertising Central AC when the unit has no central air whatsoever is simply unacceptable.
