Glamping on the Cheboygan River – Rustic Retreat with Modern Comforts

Escape to nature with a stay on a large, private lot along the crystal-clear water of the Cheboygan River, which connects to Lake Huron and Mullett Lake. This is the perfect spot for swimming (sandy), our 26’ camper featuring indoor plumbing, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom for your comfort—glamping at its finest!

Dock your boat (up to 30’ w/ 5’ draft) on site. Bike trails from camp site connect to Mackinaw City.

I always touch base to see how things are going. Guests can contact me anytime to request more supplies and will be given my cell number for fastest response. We want you to enjoy your time up north and unplug. We don’t have Wi-Fi BUT cell service is strong for you to use your hotspot. Growing up in Northern MI we are very willing to help you plan your trip. In order for you to have a great experience please contact us with your questions. Quiet neighborhood on the Cheboygan River. Neighbors have a mutual respect for each other, with quiet hours beginning at dark (summertime is usually between 9-11pm) and ending at Sunrise. The famous Music at the Mouth, best sand bar in Northern MI provides music on Saturdays, is right around the corner. Hack-Ma-Tack Inn is right down the street, and they open daily at 5pm for cocktails and dinner.

Guests have private river frontage for swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and boating. Note, the lot does have neighbors to the south west and public swimming is on the north east side of the lot. Queen bed, full futon, and table folds down to a full bed to accommodate up to 6.

Property is accessible by land and the inland water ways.
By land Take M-33 to Carter Road, Right onto Hack Ma Tack Road, Right onto Beebe Road, and property is on the left. Large area to park in the driveway.
By Water, Property is about a 1/2 mile North of the Mouth of Mullett Lake, and about a mile South of Pier 33 Marina.
Nearest airport is Pellston Regional Airport, 21 miles away. Car rental is available at the airport. Mackinaw Shuttle is also accessible. Driving is most popular mode of transportation. Roots on the Run, owned and operated by Mike Root, is an errand business and works like an Uber as well.


Take a short walk to the renowned Hack Ma Tack Inn for great dinners and drinks. At the camp, unwind with a BBQ grill, campfire, picnic table, and lawn chairs for al fresco dining. The spacious lot is perfect for fun outdoor games like bocce ball or corn hole.
