Incredible location. Close to beach and walking distance to coffee shops and eateries. Quiet even though on a Main Street. The only minor drawback was lack of window covering for front door with due so very bright for individuals sleeping on the sofa. Served our family well!

This was an ideal place for our family of 4 to experience Sam Diego and Ocean Beach. It was a perfect location, steps from the beach! We loved it!!

I loved this property! So clean! Host was very responsive and friendly. Very easy check in process and the unit had everything we needed. It is updated and charming with a perfect location. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars, and coffee. Even a great little place to watch sunset. If I ever go back to OB I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We have stayed in several units on the BiG Blue house . We have always been Happy with our stay .The only drawback this time was that it was hotter than normal in OB.The air conditioning had a set limit , not programmed for unusual heat .I asked to be able to turn the unit down but it was not possible . Controlled by an app.The owner should let NXT have a little flexibility . There was one chair broken but not a big deal as the couch and other chair were very comfy. The management team is amazing , very responsive and had nice touches in the unit .Check in is easy and the place is clean'Also well equipped for beach days . MWe will always try to book Big blue house!

Loved the location and the home, it was just what I expected, you’re only steps from the beach, I love dog beach, and a very short walk to all the stores and restaurants. The house was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again!

The property was clean and conveniently located so close to the beach. Check in was easy and communication was always timely. Kitchen was well stocked, washer and dryer were awesome and the beds super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect; short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. The home is super clean and had everything we needed, including beach chairs and boogie boards. We loved our stay and hope to rent the same place every time we are back in San Diego. Communication was excellent. I highly recommend this home!

Cottage is located very close to beach. Newport ave. has lots of restaurants , is 2 blocks away. We had a great time. Condo is as good as advertised, we really liked it.

Love the location, easy to get around without driving. The unit was clean and tastefully decorated. The 2 minute walk to the beach, made it wonderful for nightly walks. Only one very small take away was the unit didn't have a keurig, just a standard coffee pot. All and all I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and comfortable. Perfect location if you want to spend time at the beach. Parking was a little dicey...even though property rules say no large vehicles, there were several which made it difficult to park in our narrow little space. A lot of foot traffic which results in a lot of noise. Restraunts and shops within a couple blocks. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Great modern rental right next to ocean beach. Very clean with nice amenities and a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect rental for a family. Parking was frustrating due to a shared stacked parking spot, but we made it work. Recommend a top floor unit due to sound you can hear in the bottom unit. But we had a great time, and you can’t heat the location; walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Would come again!

House is clean, new and everything worked. We stayed in the bottom floor in the house in the right. Closer to the beach than what it looks, 3 minute walk. The yard is great for relaxing, watch all the birds feed from the planted bushes/flowers. We walked everywhere we needed to go. Wednesday night the beach was packed with all sorts of local talent showcasing their skills, it was a cool attraction. Beds and bedding are comfy cozy, a/c is cold, tv was easy to work. Absolutely perfect accommodations. I would definitely return for another stay!!Had plenty of beach towels, beach chairs on side of the house and beach toys and boogie boards in common breezeway for use. All appliances worked perfectly. There is a local Kris market that has anything you would need from food to sunscreen, it’s a 11 minute walk.If I had to list a dislike, we had neighbors in the house to the left that smoked marijuana outside on there front patio furniture. So unfortunately we smelled it each time we were coming and going from the house. But it’s legal in California so I guess that’s normal.Just loved this house and location

This house is in the perfect location. Steps to the beach and great views from the porch. We had the downstairs unit and everything was really cute! We had a great time staying here!Everything was in walking distance to shops, restaurants and the tide pools!My only complaint is the parking. There are 4 units and only 3 parking spots. Yes, there is a ton of street parking, however they are always full. A couple of times we had to park a couple of blocks away. We did go on a holiday week so not sure if that was abnormally busy.

This is exactly what my family was hoping for. Comfortable space and a few steps from the beach. The ability to grab a provided beach chair from your own yard and walk across some grass to the Pacific coast is what makes this space so valuable to us. Close enough to the action to be interesting, far enough to be calm and peaceful. If I forget to bring something to the beach, no big deal just walk back in my front door to get it. Also easy access to Point Loma, the bay and downtown. Great for my family of teens. My 14 year old loved getting ebikes and my college athlete ran to sunset cliffs and then down the coast. Two of my kids surf so it was easy to rent a board and go on a whim. Ocean beach has it's own unique vibe that works for us. Interior finish of the space is very nice. Laundry and two showers is great to have. Nitpick is shared parking is tricky (but at least there is parking, and right by the beach).
