Knotty Pines Lodge is the ultimate luxury cabin surrounded by tall pine trees. It is a unique cabin north of Hochatown, featuring 4 primary suites and 2 bunkrooms, each with their own modern bathrooms. This family-oriented retreat offers a wealth of amenities, including a lit pickleball and basketball court, a relaxing hot tub, and a cozy firepit for evening gatherings and s'mores. Enjoy friendly competition with a pool table and ping pong, making it the perfect destination for creating lasting memories with loved ones.

Upon entering the cabin, you will be captivated by the expansive windows, and rustic wood posts and accents. The open floor plan seamlessly connects the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room features comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV with streaming capabilities. The fully equipped kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and all the cooking essentials you'll need to prepare a delicious meal. The kitchen island seats 5 and the dining area seats 10, perfect for intimate dinners or game nights. The spacious windows in the great room and kitchen offer picturesque views of the surrounding forest, creating a delightful sensation of residing in a woodland treehouse. The nearby laundry room makes extended stays even easier.

There are 4 king room suites downstairs, each luxuriously outfitted with high-end bedding, extra pillows, cozy throws, and coordinating accent pillows. In addition, two of the king bedrooms include a twin day bed, perfect for children or extra guests. Each of the king suites includes an ensuite bathroom with modern amenities.

Designed with fun in mind, the loft area provide endless entertainment options for guests of all ages. Challenge friends and family to a game of pool, all while enjoying your favorite shows late night movies on the large TV.
The upstairs loft features 2 sleeper sofas and 3 bean bag chairs, providing the opportunity to stargaze through the treetops and awaken to breathtaking views. The 2 bunkrooms offer a cozy and fun sleeping space, each with a full bathroom. There's also a balcony upstairs, perfect for observing nature while savoring a glass of wine.

Wonderful time spent with family celebrating Thanksgiving, birthdays and anniversaries. Owners were very responsive to any requests and house was exactly what we always look for, clean and roomy with all kinds of sports activities available

The property is just what we always look for. Very clean, roomy, with large common area. Our family loves sports and competition so enjoyed the pickleball, basketball, cornhole, ping pong, pool table, hot tub and outdoor fire pit. Would definitely would return for another stay

Christmas at Knotty Pines

We had 12 family members for Christmas at Knotty Pines Lodge! The house has everything and more to keep 12 people active, happy and relaxed. Everything we needed was there for cooking and playing. The house was clean and perfectly situated in the beautiful pine trees for privacy and fun. You’ll love this place!

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved the spaciousness of Knotty Pines lodge, the bedrooms were very nice and comfortable, and the loft and the outdoors had plenty of activities to keep our group engaged. It was in a location where we felt secluded enough during our stay but also had several towns close enough for a couple outings for the group that were fun!

Perfect Get Away

We had easy communication with the host and their details about the property made the stay even better. There was space for our older guests to have quiet rooms away from the kids. The bunks were safe for the kids. We enjoyed the kitchen and all of the outside space.

Perfect getaway!

I took a trip with a big group and we had an absolute blast. All the rooms are great, and the living room and common spaces are open and have plenty of room. Kitchen accommodated all of our food needs, and the guys had a great time using the pickleball court and fire pit in the back. Truly such a great time. Would definitely go again! You can tell they take care of the place and want people to feel welcomed.

A most serene retreat

I have been using Vrbo for quite a while and can honestly say this may have been one of the greatest stays my friends and I have had. The place was very clean and offered so much that we never really had to leave the place. It gave us the sense of a home away from home. Truly thankful for the owners as well for being so kind and giving clear instructions and even some recommendations on the places we should go!5/5 Would stay here again and planning on it!

Our Knotty Pines experience was a blast! We couldn’t have asked for better hosts than Rhonda and Paul! They provided lots of information to us and responded promptly for questions I had. The home was very clean, large and comfortable bedrooms, fantastic and roomy kitchen, and everything we needed The home was perfect for our large family and so many fun things to do inside and outside. We sat around the fire pit and sang karaoke, had s’mores, and did a lot of laughing. Everyone said it was one of the best trips we have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend Knotty Pines for your get away vacation stay. My 5 year old granddaughter said “can we come back here again.” I will definitely considered Knotty Pines for my future stay! Thanks for a great time!

Exceptional Stay!

My family and I stayed at Knotty Pines for just under a week and we absolutely loved it! The cabin was immaculate and truly looked even better than the photos. The beds were soft and comfortable and everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything we could ever need, all we had to bring was food. We had plans to wander into town and participate in some of the local activities, but we loved the house so much we never left! Lastly, Rhonda was extremely kind, responsive, and thorough! The digital guidebook she put together told us everything we needed to know about the home, and the turn-by-turn directions to the property ended up coming in handy as well. We've stayed at several vacation homes through the years and Knotty Pines was hands down the best experience we've had yet. Thanks for everything, we can't wait to come back!

The Perfect Family Getaway!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Knotty Pines Lodge in June 2025 and I can't say enough good things about our experience. Even from the beginning, we found the property website informative and helpful with a house manual, turn-by-turn directions, and a list of local activities, restaurants & shopping. Once we arrived at the lodge, it was obvious that every detail had been thought through to make our stay special. The property was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The lodge had plenty of space for our 3 generations of family staying together and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor sport court. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bedrooms were comfortable and we loved the little touches like the welcome basket of goodies when we arrived. The location was ideal - secluded enough to feel private and peaceful, but still close enough to shops, restaurants, the lake and trails. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind - they clearly take pride in this property and it shows. Highly, highly recommend!
