This quaint little place was just perfect for what we were looking for in Ventura, CA! The location was convenient and quiet and the hot tub was super. The home doesn't have AC, but there was a box fan that helped keep the bedroom cool. I would caution potential renters about the stairs-only entrance, though, as it was the biggest downside when toting in and out luggage.

We had such a great time at Sunny Daze! The house felt so cozy and welcoming, and we loved sitting outside with our morning coffee. The location was perfect for getting to the beach and downtown—would definitely stay here again!

Our second stay at this beautiful spot. Clean, airy, well appointed, and comfortable inside and out. Remarkable ocean views from the expansive terrace, landscaping that provides privacy as well as natural beauty And a hot tub! Great communication with the host before, during, and after our visit. An amazing little getaway with even better views. Clean and bright little beach cottage style place.

So relaxing, that i didn't want to come home. Can't wait to go back. Minutes away from great restaurants, the Botanical Garden, the Ventura pier area. Only 20 minutes to the wine country. This place has it all.

The Good: Clean, comfortable, quiet with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and the Anacapa Islands. Located about a mile from the Ventura pier (walking) and not far from the downtown area. The "less than good": Although Sunny Days does mentions a set of steps to get to the unit, we counted about 54 steps from the street parking to the door. It was a challenge coming up and down with suitcases and groceries. Overall: We enjoyed our time and would recommend it for quiet, comfort and pretty good access to Ventura sites.

My daughter and I loved this property.A well kept charming little cottage. Incredible view. Close to neighbours for feeling of community and safety yet very private due to terrain and vegetation. Quiet neighbourhood. Walking distance to downtown. Great attention to detail in decor and furnishings in both beauty and functionality. Hot tub and washer dryer a real plus. Parking was never an issue and walking up and down the long stairway was delightful. We look forward to a future stay.

Clean and quiet. Husband and I stayed to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage is adorable. The decor was thoughtful and the layout and furniture was comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised about how quiet it is. A perfect retreat from the chaos of daily life. I am not one to typically use a hot tub, however it was obvious that it was recently serviced and clean. We loved the view from the hot tub. We loved everything about our stay. We would like to mention that the timer seems to be off on the outdoor lights - the lights were not on when it was dark - but were on during the day.
