We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend here! Perfect distance from the beach so we were able to walk and Scott (the host) was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The house also came with beach chairs, a wagon, grill and other beach necessities that are a hassle to bring with you when traveling. We had 14 guests and this house was perfect. I would definitely stay here again!

The home is beautiful and well stocked with everything that is needed. The walk to beach area is about 10 minutes and you will need to cross a busy street. You can rent golf carts in neighborhood that will make getting to and from beach area easier. I will recommend and will rent again.

We had a great stay at this Galveston Island home! The 4 bed/3 bath layout was incredibly spacious, perfect for our group to spread out and relax. One of the highlights was the outdoor setup. After long beach days, we loved coming back to grill and unwind on the balcony seating with beautiful ocean and bay views.Great location, modern feel, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d definitely come back!

Yes. Our host was very responsive and the house was great, however the house rules had us do laundry before we left. After paying that must for a weekend I felt that was not right to include that in the rules.

This home was gorgeous, immaculate and the close proximity to the beach was perfect. We loved that it is a one story and brand new. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. You could watch the sunrise over the gulf from the front porch and the sunset on the back porch. We loved that there were no toxic fragranced candles or glade plug ins. Very important to us. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We will definitely choose this beautiful home every time we stay in Galveston from now on!

We take a family vacation with my siblings and their children every year and we visit different coasts. This stay was awesome! The house was decorated so nicely and so many small things were added such as extra plugs, plenty of linens, and small appliances. The host was very responsive and I had a question while there and he immediately responded and told me to just call if I had any further questions. It is a nice walk to the beach and the community is really nicely maintained! I highly recommend this house to any size group.

The bad:Pool was closed which was disappointing. The furnishings were very low quality. The couches, not comfortable at all. The beds were fine but I couldn’t keep the sheets on the mattress. Open concept living but it really echoes so when the kids get up at 7 you can hear everything from the master bedroom. The good:A good amount of stuff for beach going stored in the garage which they give you access to. Chairs and beach toys for the kids. The shower in the master bedroom has got some power and a rainfall shower head. Really nice rocking chairs for sitting on the decks. The host was great, just let us do our own thing and no issues. I’d stay here again if I wanted to come back to Galveston.

Great!

My family and I stayed over the weekend and we had a blast! A short walk to the beach. The owners had great communication. It was worth it! We all slept comfortably!! And can I just say WOW on the master's shower!!! It was beautiful and the water pressure was perfect!! Loved it!!!!!! Thank you for allowing our family to stay there! I would love to book again in the near future.

Very inviting place and location to boot. We came for a fishing trip and really enjoyed our stay. The place was nice, clean, and located close to our fishing destination. Only thing I would say is that we were pressed for time on the last day of checkout because having to load sheets n towels in washer to wash and dry. I really think this should be left for cleaning services . Wasn’t that it was hard to do but I think when leaving your ready to go and not waiting to wash the next load of towels and sheets. Thanks again .

Pros: The home is clean with spacious rooms and double vanities in two of three bathrooms. It has modern appliances, fixtures, and an attractive overall aesthetic! The helpful host communicates quickly when needed. *Considerations: The bedrooms do not have blackout shades, and the early morning light was bright. (Bring a sleep mask.) Bathrooms need more towel hooks. More importantly, the bedrooms need mirrors so others may use the shower. (Ladies, bring a portable vanity mirror just in case.) Lastly, the 10:00 checkout is earlier than standard and left no morning “coffee time” for our reunion group, who stayed up late visiting. If your loved ones rarely see each other that extra hour makes a big difference — especially since check-out instructions request guests to start a load of laundry and a second load if all sheets and towels don’t fit, which was the case for us. We are stumped by the request since we paid a generous “service fee” and a separate cleaning fee. Starting the dishwater and taking out the trash was expected, as it’s standard practice in most rentals with an 11:00 checkout time. *Overall, we recommend this lovely home if your group does not need more time before checkout and is aware of the additional checkout steps.

Does not accommodate for large groups. Futon mattresses for beds on the bunk beds that were terrible to sleep on. Cheap IKEA furniture and uncomfortable pull out mattresses. Our backs hurt for days after sleeping here. Luke warm water in showers and then freezing cold water for the rest of the group. We did not have enough warm water for our group to all take a comfortable shower. The host said they didn't believe us because no one else had this complaint. Two nights we had cold water to shower in with no help from the host. There were dirty black towels when we arrived in the bathroom that smelled like moldy towel. The wine glasses had dirty food smeared on them where they hanging. There is no light fixture above the dinning table, only the living room recessed lighting is available so all the lights had to be on even if others are sleeping. There were sugar ants on the counter that also got into our chromebooks. We had several ants on us when we left. The air vents were clogged with dust. There were two pages of rules. We had to take the sheets off of all of the beds and wash two loads of laundry before checking out. The pool that we were promised had a sign that said" Not for short term renters" so we didn't get to use it. The house shakes and rocks. We could feel it moving. We noticed the wood did not look predrilled for the crews and bolts which had cracking. Mosquitoes everywhere. The grass was too swampy for the kids to play outside. There was sitting water in yard.
