Very nice home very close to the pool and beach. Very private area, management was quick to respond to any needs.

Very clean & comfortable

Very nice place & beds were comfortable. Little confusion on checking in but they answered us immediately. Also had great service with this rental.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the house was ok and clean, it definitely is showing wear and tear. The mattresses are old and lumpy as is the main couch. The couch is uncomfortable to sit on it is so lumpy. The fridge leaked when we got there but service was very quick to come out and fix it although it did take two trips after more leaking. The house did have some trouble cooling down and the upstairs bedroom never was fully cool. The lot is heavily wooded so if you want to sit on your porch and not getting eaten by bugs this is not the house for you. The bunk bed room is very claustrophobic so keep that in mind. Not a bad house just needs some updates.

Summer 2025

I had a wonderful time this summer at Carillon Beach. I absolutely loved the community—it’s peaceful, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house we stayed in was beautiful, fully equipped with all the comforts you could ask for. And the beach? Simply excellent—clean, calm, and ideal for enjoying the sun and sea. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Place is very nice & in a great location if you like to go to the beach. The refrigerator in the kitchen was not cold enough & food spoiled in 2 days. Blue Swell did bring in a small refrigerator for me to use but that took up more space in the main area .

Great Location. We love the area but wont stay here again. We weren’t allowed to download any apps to tv so unable to watch desired content— NCAA finals and Masters week! Fridge beeps and has to be reset numerous times a day-does not stay cold. Seeing older posts it seems this has been going on for a while. Also you cant use bottom drawers door doesn’t open enough. No outside outlets work. Ignore PDF of instructions for pool and beach codes. Again now see tjisnin prior post—Use parking pass qr code.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honestly the interior and location of the house was amazing! We did have an issue with the refrigerator but it was immediately taken care of the same afternoon. Really the main issues with the property are the outdoors. There was just a lot of overgrowth of foliage. Which attracted lots of bugs, we couldn’t enjoy the outside in the evening because of the mosquitos. That really is the only complaint and I think it would be an easy fix to get it sprayed or something. We did get bug spray and used that. Again, I think that is an easy fix for the owner. Also maybe having a keypad entry other than the one key that was provided to get into the property. Would definitely stay here again. The inside was clean, and well laid out. Beach service was great. The balcony was nice, minus bugs. And the location was close to the beach, pool, and downtown.

Our stay at this property had some challenges that I think future guests should be aware of. When we arrived, we noticed quite a bit of dust and pet hair, which made the space feel less clean than expected. The refrigerator was not working during our stay, and while a dorm-sized fridge was provided, it really wasn’t enough space for four adults for a full week.The layout also has many steps, including some leading up to the bed, which could be difficult for anyone needing to get up during the night or with mobility concerns. In addition, the gate codes provided for the pool were incorrect, which caused some frustration, and communication with the management company could have been more responsive.While the property has potential, these issues made our experience less enjoyable than we had hoped.

We will work on making that information more clear in the property listing. Additionally, we’re sorry for the incorrect pool gate codes and the frustration that caused. That, along with the communication delays you mentioned, are not the standard we aim to deliver, and we are addressing both with our team. The house was a beautiful home and we loved Carillon Beach community. The landscape could use some love. Some of the palms are overgrown on the walkway and mosquitoes were abundant! Could not get in the door fast enough. We bought some citronella candles to try to help. It was hard to see the house due to the overgrowth of trees. The master bed was very soft and made for a backache every morning. The overall house was great and the amenities were good. Love the location to the beach and pool. Refrigerator had issues but maintenance came quick and got it taken care of. The Blue Swell management team were great. if you have someone coming with you that has difficulty with stairs this may be challenging. Overall a great property.
