Outstanding property

I rented this property to put up a guest for a week in June. This jewel box of a cottage was exactly as described and illustrated on the site. I think what a web site cannot capture is all the thought and care that went into creating this home by the sea. Everything you would expect in a summer house is present. Chairs and an umbrella to sit under while you view the ocean, check. A charming garden in which to relax and enjoy the shade, check. An outdoor shower when you return from the beach, check. A comfortable bed and bath, a well outfitted kitchen and even a powder room for guests with laundry facilities. This cottage may be small but it lives like a much larger place because the space is laid out and furnished so well and every detail is considered. For example, two of the four dining chairs are on casters so can easily be rolled to other spaces.The host was very considerate and was sure to communicate with me well in advance of the stay. She even allowed an early check in because there was not a guest before us. I highly recommend this property for single person or a couple.

Great location

Wonderful Birthday Getaway!

A perfect place to stay with 3 of my girlfriends for my birthday weekend! Cozy and cute, close to many fun places and we all loved the walk each evening to the public path to sit in the rocks -wonderful way to end each day!!!

Rocky Shores

Nice set up with cottage close to Bearskin Neck and Gloucester. Owner provided plenty of info on cottage and surrounding area. Very enjoyable visit.

Perfect for young and old

This was a perfect property for our trip. There were 3 of us from 3 very different generations staying here and all of our needs were met. Sue is a FANTASTIC host. The area is gorgeous and plenty to do for all of us.

lovely quiet spot near the bustle of everything

We had a wonderful time in this little cabin - close enough to get to all the beaches and stores and tucked just far enough (still having an ocean view) for quiet, restful time back at the cabin. Thank you for a lovely seaside home!

Great Stay!!

Perfect location in Rockport. Lots of great views and walks all around. The cottage was cozy and comfortably accommodated the 4 of us. Sue, the owner, was welcoming and helpfully available to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend this this great getaway.

Rockport Cottage

We enjoyed our time very much at our Rocky Shore #15 cottage. It was very clean and extremely cute. The view was incredible and it was surprisingly quiet despite the proximity of the other cottages. It was a great place to stay for a family of 4.

Lovely cottage with beautiful view of Thacher Island

Had a wonderful time during our stay at Rocky Shores. The cottage was very charming and it was nice to have a full kitchen to make breakfast every morning. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful view of the ocean. Sue was very pleasant to deal with and we are looking forward to visiting again.

Rockport cottage

The cottage was very cozy and inviting. The views around the property were just beautiful. Plenty to do around the village. And just walking along the road to look at the ocean was spectacular. We had a wonderful time. This is a great place to be with friends!

Charming Cottage with a View

This was my third stay at this lovely little cottage. Each stay has been delightful. The cottage is well equipped and impeccable with a pretty little yard and garden. There are so many lovely things to do and see in the area The host is lovely as well and is very knowledgeable about the area. I have thoroughly enjoyed each stay.

Great Accomodation Great Location Great Views

great location near to Rockport, with amazing views of Thacher Island and 2 mins walk from Loblolly Cove, very comfortable accommodation had everything we needed. very quiet location you can really relax here! Close enough to any amenities including supermarkets, shops in Gloucester and Rockport and train to Boston from Rockport, great beaches abound here and Cape Ann is so beautiful. We will be back!

Quaint cottage with a great view

We had a lovely time in Rockport, with beautiful weather and a cute cottage. The walks were great along the water. Sue was very accommodating and always in contact with us if we needed anything. I would recommend her cottage!

The cottage is a perfect destination

Upon opening the front door we really felt we were on vacation. Nicely appointed in ocean motif, it felt like home for the week. The area is quiet, with nice cottage neighbors and the walk to Loblolly Cove was a nightly event. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. The O'Briens, Salem NH

Very nice cottage

The cottage is lovely. Has all the amenities you could need. Owner, Susan, is very responsive to any questions. The view from the table outside is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be there during a full moon to see the reflection off the water.

Lighthouse Cottage

Thanks so much for the wonderful week at the cottage. We woke up every morning to view two beautiful lighthouses and to a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. Definitely want to return to the cottage.
