This chalet home is privately nestled along the shore of Kilkenny Cove, abutting conservation land and surrounded by trees, ocean and a stream. Take a paddle around one of the nearby islands during sunset or choose to relax and enjoy the evening sky around the fire pit or from the comfort of the newly installed hot tub. The whole group will have a blast playing in the game rooms, which include ping pong, shuffleboard, Pop-a-shot basketball and an arcade room. When you want some down time, you can lounge in a hammock or take a stroll along the rocky shore during low tide and enjoy the resident wildlife.

Situated halfway between Acadia National Park’s two primary locations on Mount Desert Island and on the Schoodic Peninsula (each 30 minutes away), and 5-20 minutes away from a variety of additional hiking, boating and ocean-themed outings, you will have no shortage of opportunities for adventure.

Minutes away from three outstanding restaurants and only ~10 minutes away from Ellsworth with additional restaurants, groceries and shopping.

Singing Shores — A Year-Round Retreat
This comfortable home is available to book year-round and is truly a destination in itself. Whether you’re visiting for cozy winter nights or sunny summer days, there’s always something special to enjoy here.

* Winter Notes (December through March)
In the winter months, all-wheel drive is necessary to access the home. The property is very private and located down a long driveway. While the driveway is plowed and sanded regularly, the colder, icy months can still make access challenging without a suitable vehicle.

Also, during the winter months, the fire pit is not shoveled and is not accessible. The kayaks are stored for the season, and the stairs leading down to the water have been removed to prevent damage.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor areas at their own discretion, but we kindly ask that you use extra care.
