Set on an expansive acre and a half with sweeping views from nearly every room, Palacio Encantado is thoughtfully designed for both refined gatherings and private retreat. At its core is a show-stopping chef’s kitchen, fully outfitted with top-tier appliances including a gas range, three ovens, two refrigerators, and an oversized island perfect for casual dining or catering prep. The adjoining wet bar, complete with wine and beverage fridges and elegant glassware, makes hosting effortless.

The open-concept layout flows directly into a spacious living and dining area, with sliding glass doors opening to a spectacular central courtyard. This enchanting outdoor haven features over 1,000 sq. ft. of flagstone patio, a built-in gas grill and prep station, al fresco dining for 14+, lounge seating, a gas fireplace, bistro lighting, and outdoor speakers—all framed by the beauty of Santa Fe’s high desert skies. Whether hosting sunset cocktails or a chef-curated dinner under the stars, Palacio Encantado sets the stage for unforgettable moments.

Inside, the home offers three luxurious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The primary suite features a king bed, private patio, gas fireplace, spa-like bath with a three-head shower, and an oversized soaking tub. The two guest bedrooms each feature queen beds, curated linens, fine toiletries, and inspiring views. For work or creative pursuits, the home includes two private office spaces, as well as a media room with Apple TV and satellite for relaxation.

Designed with comfort in mind, the home is equipped with radiant heat, central air conditioning, and a geothermal system for instant hot water. The Bluetooth-enabled surround sound system and strong Wi-Fi enhance both leisure and productivity.

Good for Travelers With Dogs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My two retired friends and I spent a beautiful fall week here with our three small-to-medium sized dogs. The very large back yard is completely surrounded by a privacy fence, so we could sit out on the beautiful patio and let them roam. The house itself was more than big enough for us, allowing each of us to have his or her own bedroom and bathroom. We loved the gas fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom! This is probably the best stocked house we have ever stayed in.

Great property for a family gathering for the Holiday. Our family loved staying here. Beautiful views, very spacious house and a great kitchen stocked with everything you need. Very close to everything in Santa Fe. Highly suggest this property to anyone.

Fantastic house

We had a great stay at this beautiful house. Views and outdoor space were lovely. Interior was roomy and artistically furnished. Kitchen was fully stocked. Location was great for Santa Fe restaurants and attractions. Highly recommended.

The Perfect Place to Stay in Santa Fe!!

This house more than met our expectations! The house itself is spacious, gorgeously furnished, and completely private. When sitting on the lovely back patio, you see nothing around you but mountains. The feeling is a lot like having Santa Fe all to yourself. The landscaping is so well done! Aspens, flowering gardens and fruit trees surround the house. Still, you are just minutes from anything you would want to see in Santa Fe. The master bedroom is large and surrounded with patios and gardens just out the glass doors. There are two other smaller bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, great air conditioning, several fireplaces, chef's kitchen, and spacious living areas. We loved this house! We took our large golden retriever along, and he was perfectly at home. A fenced in back yard made traveling with a pet a very pleasant experience! We also appreciated that the owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we would need for the week we were there. In summary--just a gorgeous home that looks even better than the pictures. Next time we visit Santa Fe, this is where we will want to stay.

Dog friendly slice of heaven!

Great property just outside of the Downtown/Plaza area. Quick and easy access both from the interstate and into the heart of Santa Fe. We enjoyed many aspects of the home, including the dog-friendly yard and the three on-suite bedrooms, but the kitchen was the standout! All of my group were professional wine/food folk and they wanted for nothing. We’ll be back for sure! Thanks again to the hosts… it was a wonderful weekend getaway!

We have rented several properties in Santa Fe over the years, and this is by far the best. The location cannot be beat; privacy, view and proximity to town. The house is nicely laid out, and the large patio is fabulous. For the meals that we ate at the house, we always ate outside. The owners are exceptional. If we had to narrow down our favorite restaurants to just two, we would pick Clafoutis and Restaurant Martin. Hiking the close trail at Sun Mountain was a bonus. We hope to return.

Wonderful home!

Often the posted pictures oversell the home, but in this case, the home and furnishings far surpassed our expectations!! This home was really really lovely! and so well appointed! It was also extremely spacious - the rooms themselves were large, open and airy (and yet amazingly cozy and comfortable) and the spread out nature of the layout was perfect for the five of us (our daughter and son and his fiancée were with us) as it provided us with 3 totally private bedrooms each with their own bathroom, two different office spaces and multiple and abundant areas, both large and small and inside and outside, for congregating, entertaining and relaxing, We were there for almost two weeks and never found a thing to complain about - the house was equipped with everything we needed/wanted and more and the owners were truly “hosts“, so gracious and accommodating. We definitely recommend this beautiful home.
