Overall the house was adequate,but the poolhouse was really dirty. The refrigerator did not work properly and smelled. Surraces in the poolhouse were not clean. It looked like someone had a party in there and no one cleaned up. Directions about the house were not accurate. We were given a key code and then when we called because we couldn't get in, we were told there was a hidden key in a place on the porch. No directions were given regarding the pool. Pool chairs and equipment were shabby and there was very little shade because the pool house was so dirty. We left the property on Saturday by 10 and everything was as we found it at the pool area. Saturday was stormy, That Monday, the host emailed us claiming that we were responsible for a shattered glass table that had somehow ended up in the pool. We cited the storms and the fact that we left the property by 10:00 am as contracted, They claimed we owed the owner 100 for cleanup! In addition, the house had an insect problem in the kitchen and the bedrooms. My son and his wife awoke one night to ants crawling on them in their bedroom, The bathtub stopper would not work, to bathe my grandchildren I had to go to Target to get a stopper. There were not enough linens for my family - no washcloths whatsoever. Again, a trip to Target was required. We are a pet family and have dogs and cats, but the smell on the blankets and the couch pillows was rank. Deck had several boards that needed to be nailed down, not safe for kid
