Over all our stay was amazing. Our getaway plan was to celebrate my 55th birthday and relax and we accomplished it thanks to our stay. The condo had everything we needed from kitchen essentials 1 to beach and pool needs. Make this your stay!!

Lovely stay

While the Tides is an older property, the unit was very nice. We enjoyed the balcony. The beds were very comfortable. The condo looks exactly like it is represented on line. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Communication with Anna went well. I highly recommend this unit and The Tides

Great, clean, beach front fun

The condo was super clean, and updated. The balcony view of the marina was also nice. Beach access was awesome. Check-in is a bit odd since it’s not in the front like a hotel, the registration office is in back hallway. This made sense once I realized it’s a condo with permanent residence. Be sure you read all the rules and understand refund process if anything happens, because not all bookings have one.

Clean Condo

So the room doesn't face the ocean front but you do get a glimpse of the back bay area. Plus it is on the higher levels which helps with the view. The condo is pretty spacious for it only being a 1 bedroom. The building has high security which makes you feel safe but also can be a pain if you didn't bring your key fab. The condos location isn't bad. My family and I walked to the boardwalk which is roughly a 40 min walk. The free lounge chairs at the beach were a nice touch!

My 2023 vacation

Hello We had a very nice stay except for some little inconvenience. The condo was fairly clean except for mildew around the bathtub and the vanity. The pool heating system was broken for our last few days but other than that everything was fine . Sandra was very nice and helpful when we registered and showed us around. Thank you

Nice place

The check-in process of the overall property is a pain but worth it. This was my second time staying at the Tides. Ana and Sandra were very communicative. It was just myself and my 5yr old and he really enjoyed the pool. I loved the beach area with free chairs! The unit was clean and had everything, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. There was even a little cooler for the beach that came in handy. I thought the beds were hard and lumpy and uncomfortable. Balcony was nice. The street below was kind of loud with people blowing their horns 24/7. But overall I would stay again.

Spring break trip

The tides accommodated 3 teens and 2 adults well. Good closet space. Check in was not that easy. The office is only open 9-5. Everyone in our party had to come to the office to get wristbands. They only provided 2 key fabs which are required to get in any door and elevator. It would have been nice if the condo had a few spices and cooking spray or oil available to use for cooking. I was told I would receive check in information 2 -3 days before my trip. I did not receive any information until I was driving to the airport to get on the plane. The host did not respond to me when I asked about check in process. Overall it was a good location and the space was clean.

Excellent place!

The condo has everything you need such as beach towels, cooking utensils, pool and gym and very clean! Blankets and sheets smelled wonderful. Laundry was on same floor and some restaurants nearby they do delivery quickly to pool, room, beach.Excellent view from the balcony! The only thing would had been nice a later check out since our flight was for later on the day and/or a place to leave our suitcases in the meantime as others condos had. Even though it’s a non-smoking place, we noticed someone smoking close to our place that will come through the AC vents. Other than that I highly recommended for families and very relaxing place where you get the umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach!

Snowbird’s Paradise

Arrival and checkin was fast and easily done. Apartment was roomy and very clean, and we enjoyed the view of the inland water way. Amenities were not lacking, and whether going to the pool or the beach, we were fully equipped. Staff on site were very accommodating and answered any questions we might have had during our stay. The backed up dishwasher which created a mess in the dishwasher and both sinks in the kitchen and bathroom was unfortunate but quickly cleaned up by Sandra and her crew of workers and did not hinder our vacation at all. Any equipment that was not properly working was fixed quickly as well. Both my sister-in-law and her husband who visited us for a week, commented on the excellent location and are considering looking into VRBO for next spring. Overall we had an excellent time at this VRBO Property. Thank you Sandra and Ana.

Not what we expected

The biggest concern was that many items required repair or replacement, or were missing or very low quality. Bathroom knob lock did not work, when we reported it, and it was "corrected", it locked inside but was not possible to unlock and child was locked and scared in the bathroom until we unlocked knob from outside. Faucet /Shower switch did not work so we could not switch all the water to the shower. Cooktop had only one working burner and hood above it was so dirty that yellow liquid stuff was dropping onto top from it. Oven was not working so we had to use small portable one. Many kitchen items were missing i.e. can opener. Pans have to replaced as they are very old. Pillows are not usable - we bought our own ones. Water supply had two issues in two weeks. First hot water was brown and smelled bad - no one reported to tenants that building had water issue. We could not use it for two days. The second issue occurred in a couple of days when hot water stopped and we had to use cold water to take shower. Beach service was nice .
