Condo had a great view,but could use a few updates. It could definitely use some new mattresses they were worn out. Washing machine had mold. But be warned the Elevators suck. Long wait times and people crowded into them. You can wait upwards of 30/45 minutes. Definitely need more elevators.

June 2025 Vacation

Had an overall good stay at Shores of Panama. Location, pool, and beach access were great. Enjoyed being in walking distance to popular restaurants and bars. Worst thing about stay was the elevators, they had awful wait times and no ventilation so extremely hot with crowds of people. Only 4 elevators for whole complex. I know that is out of their control but for anyone looking to stay there, just keep that in mind. Also floors in room look like they hadn’t been mopped and room had a weird smell; we bought air fresheners to keep in there during our trip. We still enjoyed our vacation and these things didn’t affect our stay too much. Price was good for the size and numbers of bedrooms and bathrooms. Also 22nd floor had a great view!

Resort was nice. Garage is a nightmare. Pool is nice. Elevators are hit or miss. Condo itself was nice. Needs a new mattress in the master. One whole side of the mattress is caved in. Ice maker didn’t work, maintenance came and fixed it but it quit again the next day. Great view from a very large balcony.

Great place. Nice people no issues with property !!

Condo was nice and clean. Could use more kitchen sut. Other than having to buy a spatula to cook breakfast with since there wasn't one.. everything else was great. Loved the view and elevators were fast and no issues. A lot of reviews were how aweful the wait was but us having 8 in our group we never had to wait more than 2 minutes for one.

Nice view of the beach

Great location, close to everything! Bar right across the street as well as a Waffle House for late night eats!! I'd highly recommend staying here for the view, comfortable beds, 3 bed room, 3 baths, no waiting on showers!! Very clean as well!

Great condo with plenty of space.

Condo was great! Very clean and convenient to many nearby activities and restaurants Parking was not visitor friendly. and elevators had lengthy waits. Would suggest something to make the tubs less easy to slip in.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved 2201 @ Shores of Panama! It was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We did experience the "black feet" syndrome, but when we owned a rental condo, we had to have the floors professionally cleaned twice a year to avoid that. Normal mopping just doesn't cut it. But otherwise, very clean. Great location, we walked down the beach to Pineapple Willie's next door for dinner. Overall, we would definitely stay again and would use Book That Condo again as well.

Great room, Terrible building

As far as the room and property manager goes this is a 10/10 recommendation. However, our room was not ready when we were told a specific time to be there we ended up waiting in the parking deck for an hour just to get the code to the room. This room is on the 22nd floor and the elevators are packed by the time it makes it to you. The only complaint about the actual room itself is sand in the beds and covering the floors when we first arrived so if we were waiting on the code because of a cleaning delay we would have expected it to be more spotless.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the condo and everything about it. We saw dolphins, stingray, and turtles from the balcony every morning. The pools at the property was nice and clean. Only one hot tub outside. Elevators were very old and we had many issues while there. They’re supposed be upgrading soon. Condo managers were average to deal with before our trip but excellent while there. And they knew very little about amenities inside the condo. So there are plenty of beach chairs and two umbrellas on premises for renters to use. That was an awesome benefit.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Horrible experience, power surge placed us in a alternate spot that was a so called upgrade, the rental company placed us. They had construction going on the floor above us @ 8a.m. & parking was a ways away from our housing location. Although the Mgr. on duty was very nice & attempted to facilitate/accommodate needs.

August 20-26, 2023 Stay

Communication about checking in at parking garage, narrowness of parking spaces, need to use wrist band to enter garage was not communicated at all beforehand. Had an issue with one female security guard who was rude, condescending and argumentative. Keep making a hmpf type of sound when communicating with us as if we were beneath her or scum. Everyone else we encountered was genuinely nice and helpful. Asked maintenance to replace a ceiling canister type light bulb over the dining room table on the first day of our stay. A man came, looked at the light and never came back. We only had one light in the dining room our entire stay. Pool area is really beautiful. Rooms were as pictured. View was amazing!

Absolutly beautiful BUT

The condo is absolutely beautiful and the view is amazing, but the parking part was hell for us. I kept asking for help and no one would tell me where to park because we had two parking passes with the same number that's why I ask for help cause I didn't know where to park the other park the other vihicle until one person told me to park where the yellow paint is. And those DAMNNN ELEVATORS made the check out so complicating, our husbands had to use the 22 stairs up and down cause the waiting part for the elevators for like 30 min to 40 min cause it would be full to get in and to wait for it again would take so long. Other then that again the condo was amazing and just beautiful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Parking garage was the absolute most unorganized place I think I have ever been to. Called The Shores of Panama after hours to try and get some helping finding our parking spot and one woman said i'd have to call back in the morning and park out by the road until then..then the next woman I got on the phone told me she couldn't help because shes never even actually been to the shores of panama she just answers the phone. I thought in general the whole resort was very unorganized and unprofessional. Our room was perfect, and exactly what the pictures look like. Our first morning there we got woken up by the alarm going off at 5am telling everyone to exit the building by stairs only..22 flight of stairs and a week later our legs still hurt. No one would tell us why the alarm went off either. I would not care for the resort again ever again but I wouldn't mind coming back to room 2201 using book that condo. Also the floors didn't seem like they had been cleaned. Was there just a few hours and our feet where already black, not a big deal what so ever just figured I would throw that out there so they could make sure the workers are doing their job.

Too big and too busy

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We checked in to the Shore of Panama on Sunday. The line for check in was very long, but since we paid in advanced we skipped the line and were given the wrist band along with the door code fairly quickly. Since the owner of the condo did not pay for parking spot, we had to search for parking space Avery time we moved our car. The biggest issue was the elevators. Only 4 and one of them did not work. Since we stayed on the 22nd floor and had a baby with us, we relied on these elevators. Had to wait close to 30 minutes in 100 degree heat along with other angry guest. Very awful welcome. The condo was nice. Beautiful view from the top, and in good condition. Since we had a baby with us, took us some time to get to the pool and were never able to find chairs. People go early to claim the chairs by placing towels and never come back to use them. We will never again go to a mega condo building. Too busy and very stressful. We found that 3 separate companies operate the place. The rental company, the wrist band company and the parking company. You, the guest, is being shoved between the 3 and no one is in control over all of it. This is not the kind of vacation we were looking for. We were hoping for a stress free restful time, but that is not what we got.

Beautiful

This unit must have one of theee best views on the beach only 2nd to the unit above. The wrap-around balcony provides views of both the gulf and the city. The unit itself was spacious enough for 5 adults (2.5 couples) and exactly like the pictures. The space comes with enough towels and toiletries to get you started. A Walmart is literally across the street so stocking up for the week was super easy. There's plenty of kitchen equipment for whatever you need to make but the Keurig is what did it for me! No worries about beach equipment. Each bedroom had beach equipment so no need to rent the chairs on the beach. Decent place to telework as well so you CAN have it all. Lol but seriously. Between the bedrooms and common areas, everyone was able to set up efficient workspaces. 3/5 of us were working remotely without issue. 2 of us use heavy applications and still no issue. The property manager called in advance of our arrival and checked in on us the day after our arrival. They were able to resolve the small issues we had so points for good communication. Now for the not so great parts. The unit could definitely use a real deep-cleaning. The elevator for that wing was theee worse. I recommend using the other wing's elevators during peek hours. Walking up 22* flights is not whats up. Parking and unloading was also not the best. If you have a lot of bags and equipment, I recommend finding your parking spot first, renting a cart or 2 from the lobby and do your unloading from the parking spot on level ground instead of the lower level loading zone during peak hours. In all, we had a great time and would rent again. Our overall rating is a 4.2 out 5.

1st and only time to stay at this place!

This was a tough one considering I’ve never left a bad review about any other condo in the past years.. But this was a bad experience upon arrival with the parking staff being rude and very unhelpful to the on sight employees threatening to have me towed and removed before I could get to our condo and get our parking passes and those stupid wrist bands you get checked for every corner you turn, and although our condo included a designated parking spot we were unable to use due to the size. But I can look past those minor inconveniences. What I couldn’t look past was the roaches in our condo. We tried reaching out sat the day of check in, and the days to follow, finally got a call back Wednesday afternoon only to be told it would be Friday the day before check out that someone would be there to spray the room. Was then offered what would be our choice from a handful of places to go which was either gulfworld, Dave and busters and a couple other places for our inconvenience that they never followed thru with. And if I’m not mistaken I’m pretty sure that was included in the condo description at the time of booking to begin with. So with that being said I will not be returning to this place in the future!!

Book that condo - shores of Panama 2201

If I could leave half a star I would. I could deal with the elevators not working, I can deal with the key pad not working the morning of my wedding. But I can not deal with getting the run around when it came to having roaches in our room. I had to throw out groceries and wedding pasties. The general manager finally gave me a call back today after our stay July 22-28th.she was very unhelpful and argumentative. Not only would I not recommend this rental company for being rude and unprofessional but I would not recommend the shores of Panama at all! Broken elevators, keypads , and roach infestation. My niece was followed and taken off of the elevator because she did not have a wristband in which we were told she only needed for common areas in which she was only coming up to our room to visit. The wedding was ruined due to bugs and untimely/non working elevators. Unfortunately, book that condo does not care nor wish to help any customer. I would hope no one stays here. Our condo was 2201 so watch out! I generally feel bad for the owner of the property. I’m sure they are unaware that this condo is not being taken care of nor are they being backed by a supporting rental agency. It’s all about the money when it comes to these places. Just sad!
