Charming Colonial house with the comforts of a modern home.

This Luxury Colonial Style house has 3 bedrooms (one downstairs, two upstairs), 2 full baths, kitchen and a family room with a pool table. Flat screen TVs in each room. The kitchen is fully equipped. The terrace has a lovely view of the volcanoes and surrounding mountains. There is a laundry room (The House keeper will do the laundry) and Wi-fi High speed Internet access and a secure safe deposit box for important papers.
Fifteen minutes walking distance to central park. Ten Minutes to the Market. Inside a secured gated community. A housekeeper who will clean the house and do your laundry.
Bottled water is provided and replenished so you don´t have to buy it.
We can provide Airport pickup and return (You pay around $60 each way). Upon arrival we provide a welcome basket with fruit, coffee, bread, bottled water, etc. good for a day or two.

such a wonderful spacious home in a quiet close in and secure neighborhood. Rene and staff were so incredibly helpful and responsive to every need. I hope to stay in Rene’s casa bonita again soon!

Amazing property!!

We loved everything about this stay. Rene is very accommodating and Vilma doing our laundry was theee best. Beds are comfortable .Loved having 2 bathrooms! 5 Star all the way !!!!

Antigua

Quiet , tranquil location but close to restaurants , shops and local attractions. Rene the host has clean spacious rental and he is very attentive . Providing suggestions on places to eat , activities and his restaurant offers live music which I highly recommend. Definitely would recommend and intend to return in the future.

Antigua Vaca stay

Beautiful home and property, with an optimal location, only a 20 minute walk to busy downtown area, but far away for a quite and peaceful sleep. Vilma is GREAT, she helped us with a few things. Beautiful terrace ciew, highly recommend this property.

Antigua vacation

This was a beautiful, clean, safe, and quiet home in a gated neighborhood in Antigua. It was about a 10 minute walk from the central city, so it was quiet but still within walking distance or a $3-5 Uber for everything we wanted to do in Antigua. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful home in a great part of town

René is a fantastic host. The house is amazing. There are amazing views from the rooftop deck. Everything in Antigua is walkable from this house. We had a wonderful experience and intend to stay here again in the future.

Great host

Rene was a great host, he promptly responded to questions and was available for any assistance we required. The dog on site was an additional bonus ! The location was very quiet and secure. I would definitely stay there again.

Magical stay in Antigua.

The house is wonderful. It is beautiful and comfortable. You have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The host is very nice and helpful. The maid is also very kind and helpful. The neighborhood is within walking distance to most attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating New Years in Antigua while staying here.

A wonderful stay in Antigua

We were thrilled with the space and amenities at this property for the price!! We were in another tiny rental in Antigua and decided to look for something else. We were SO happy. We were spoiled with so much space and breakfast and laundry and a pool table!!

Great location, quiet area, short walk to central Antigua!

Grateful to Señor René, Señora Vilma, Señor Santiago, and Erwin for making my first visit to Guatemala a true success! My friend and I felt safe and truly cared for throughout our stay. Transportation to/from GUA was a breeze, and when we had questions regarding tours we were connected with a driver and tour guide all within reasonable price. The welcome fruit basket was a nice touch, as well as the personal tour of the beautiful property. Would stay here again! Thank you!

I enjoyed my stay in this beautiful house, with a quiet atmosphere. The house is well located to walk anywhere in Antigua. We loved this property . It was quiet and we were able to walk to everything ! The city center was no more than a 15 min walk away. The host is amazing , he is very accommodating and the pictures do not do the please enough justice ! We greatly enjoyed sitting on the rooftop as well.

Wonderful home and host

We loved Rene's home, his hospitality, it's location and JD, his dog. Everything was just as advertised. The food to get us started was such a nice touch. We only wished we had more time on this trip. Look forward to our return.

Home Away from Home

We had such a wonderful stay and are already missing everything about our time here. Rene and Ms Vilma took such great care of us -- we wanted for absolutely nothing. The house is perfectly appointed and located -- a short stroll to all sites in town. We will definitely stay again when we return to Antigua.

Perfect spot

We stayed here for a girls’ trip. Rene set us up with a driver from the airport. Everything went smoothly and we were given the keys and a tour of the place. The place was super cute and clean. The pictures just don’t do it justice. We were close to town where we walked everywhere and felt safe doing so. I’d definitely stay again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this very special place. The owner and housekeeper were extra attentive to our needs. The house was beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the roof terrace with views of Volcán Fuego and other mountains, as well as views of Antigua. The town, markets, and other attractions were easily accessible by foot, and we felt safe walking even at night.

I own a well stablished restaurant in Antigua called Las Palmas. Borned in California and raised in Guatemala. Moved back to the US and lived there 33 years. Came back to Guatemala in 2003. I obtained my BS from University of Florida and worked for IBM, Marriott and PWC during my 25 year career. I am retired, have become a musician, love nature and the simple things in life.

Built two houses, I live in the one behind and rent the other. Very comfortable and secure. Just 15 mins walk from central park and 10mins. to the shops and supermarket.

Beautiful wood work, skylights and unique design. Lots of plants and well decorated. Everything in the house is of the highest quality.
