I would absolutely stay here again. Very nice place with lots of room if you have a big family, and the place was very clean.

The home is lovely with a view of the lake below. It was clean except for one shower that had grit and hair in it. My daughter-in-law cleaned it to spotless. Also, the water never gets hot. The sometimes-warm showers were difficult on a chilly morning.

The house and view are beautiful. There was plenty of space for our party of 8. It was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable.

The property has a lot of nice features but cleanliness is not one of them. It needs a deep clean. Also, it was only surfaced cleaned at best. The sheets on the master bed were wrinkly, not tucked in and had 4-5 strands of long hair on them so likely were dirty. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty so we had to run a load through the dishwasher. The hot tub was low on water and also needs a good clean. When we checked in the house was 55 degrees and wouldn’t warm up. 2 hvac visits and 4 hours later it finally warmed up. We likely won’t stay here again.

The house looks just like pictures. Furniture and bathrooms need updating. Upstairs bedroom blind on small window is ripped. Bathroom shower doors are so moldy. Living room right sliding glass door does not lock. It has a baby gate to hold it closed. Cobwebs around large windows and deer head. Main floor bedroom nightstands were not wiped off and lightbulb burned out. Lower bedroom ceiling fan sounds like it’s going to take off. Lamp in lower bedroom is broken. Kitchen glass top stove looks like it’s never been cleaned. Tea kettle filthy. Utensil in the drawers were filthy. Dishwasher falling out when opened. Sink filthy. Everything needs a deep deep deep clean! Kitchen chairs are missing finials and some fall off. Hot tub water was very low, there for the water was very hot. Could not get it locked back up. The house is big and the rooms are big. Plenty of space for all 10 of us. Loved the floor plan. Would help if the floor plan was shown in VRBO. Nice view. 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive needed. Road is snow covered. All in all we enjoyed our stay. I would stay again, but take my cleaning products with me.

Beautiful location high on the mountain overlooking beautiful Deep Creek Lake. We enjoyed the spacious indoor living space, including the fireplace on a rainy weekend. Close-by Swallow Falls Trail was a beautiful & fun hike in the rain.

The property was nothing like it was listed. The photos must’ve been old photos, the screens on the sliding glass doors on the main level and lower level either didn’t shot or were torn or busted out the furniture outside on the deck had holes and torn the decking boards were rotted in places, chipping, flaking, paint, nail sticking up, uneven board, tripping hazard, the bedding was not the correct size for some of the pillows. The comforters had hose in them and torn, the bathrooms have mold in the vents and the fans and around the showers. It was rusted and just nasty from water damage and lack of being maintained, the basement area where three bedrooms were and three bathrooms smelled musty and damp, even with two dehumidifiers being run constantly, the kitchen had a cabinet door that would not stay shut, the refrigerator didn’t fit the space that it was in so it’s stuck out in the middle of the floor, they exterior along the property had overgrowth as well as PVC piping and old 8 x 8 post or railroad tide type of things that were laying around that were rotted and just left there, we had to take the trash off site to a dumpster. There was no means of it being picked up or collected at the residence and we had cars not trucks, we arrived and the AC was not working properly and once a service tech came out that evening to look at it. The filter was completely black and had not been changed in months. The couch in the living room upstairs was worn & torn, the carpet stained

Overall, this is a fantastic location and a very spacious place to travel with extended family. The view was great and it was very relaxing. The cleanliness of the house was lacking. The bathrooms were very dirty and there was mouse poop all over one of the downstairs bathrooms. I actually had to wash the sheets on one of the beds because they were not clean. The hot tub was short out after about 30 minutes and the gas grill didn’t seem to be in the best shape.
