This spacious single level 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom ground floor condo is designed for comfort and convenience. The master suite opens to a wide lanai, the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee while enjoying the fresh island air. Inside, you will find a fully updated kitchen, a bright and airy living space.
Wake up to ocean views and lush tropical gardens right from your bedroom window. Step outside to the patio, where you can enjoy meals al fresco, read a book, take a nap, or simply soak up the sun from the inviting chaise lounges. With plenty of indoor and outdoor living space, relaxation comes naturally here.
The well-kept grounds feature a manicured lawn and walking paths that lead to the southernmost point of the property. From there, you can watch sunrises, sunsets, and seasonal whale sightings. Dolphins and sea turtles can be seen all year round, making for an unforgettable backdrop for afternoon cocktails as the sun dips into the horizon.
For your convenience, the condo also includes a full-size washer and dryer.

This place was perfect. Updated and clean. The unit had AC in both rooms and it was perfect. We slept like babies on a hot Hawaiian night. The beds were so comfortable. Thank you again

My mother and I had a wonderful stay and loved this condo. It is a beautiful place to watch the sunsets from. The condo was clean and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable. If I am ever able to visit Kauai again, this is where I would want to stay again. Thank you so very much for hosting us!

Beautiful older condo on the beach. The bedrooms were large and bathrooms spacious. Sophia was very helpful and responded very quickly to our questions. The rental was centrally located in a nice area. I would recommend it to all. I’m elderly and was able to navigate easily with the ramps around the property.

This property was absolutely amazing. The condo had everything that we needed. The kids loved swimming in the pool each night after the sun went down. It is super close to some of the best beaches on the island. The gost was amazing to work with and made our stay incredible. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent ground floor condo in a perfect location. Very clean and well stocked. There was even a selection of snacks awaiting us. Sophia was very responsive and helpful. She notified us in advance of our arrival of a road closure and provided an alternate route.Great view of the ocean from the patio and you are just steps away from a beautiful lava arch and the Heritage (walking) Trail that runs along the coast. You couldn't ask for a better location - close to lovely Poipu Beach (swimming, snorkelling, green sea turtles and monk seaks), 2 great shopping centers and plenty of restaurants. And, a quick drive to Koloa, Hanapepe and Lihue.Mattress and pillows were very comfortable and linens were high end. It was also nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We’ve stayed in this same condo complex several times as this was our 7th time to Kauai, so we are pretty experienced in the Poipu area. We contacted the manager the first day about the ice maker being jammed; they responded a repair request was put in, but nothing ever came of it. Not a big deal but we ended up having to buy ice for the entire trip. There were other small issues like dryer effectiveness and longevity of hot water that could be chalked up to overuse of a vacation property. However, the property is advertised for a large group. There were a couple of other small issues that we did report on the property’s repair or issues checkout page, but again minuscule issues common to a frequently-used rental property. Overall, the place suited our needs but not the best experience we have had with the Makehuena. I have never given anything but five stars on a property, but the lack of follow through or even check in via message on the refrigerator issue over 10 days irked us in a rental-saturated area and a stay that cost several thousands of dollars. Would we stay here again? Sure, but it might not be our first choice or an automatic return visit as we have done with other condos at the Makehuena.

Pictures reflected the property very well. We had plenty of space staying with my sister and 4 young kiddos. The views from the property were amazing and the lava bridge is right next door! One of our favorite parts of the trip. It was definitely hot without air conditioning but the property provided several fans and it did well with the breeze, opening windows and doors at night. Lots of stairs/hills to take into consideration. Not ideal if hauling lots of luggage, young kids, strollers and beach gear up and down or if you have any sort of disability. Would have been much better if the kids were older and walked freely on their own. Management was super responsive when we needed items for the unit. Check in and check out were super easy!

I almost kicked myself when we got there and realized there was no ac. (100% my fault for my last minute booking and not reading all the way) but the stay was so perfect. There was plenty of fans provided to sleep comfortably & cool & on nights there's a breeze it comes through the open kitchen windows perfectly. The beds were comfortable and linens were soft. The unit was fully stocked with all the utensils we needed to make full meals! Also plenty of beach and adventure items were available for use. The cooler was especially useful. Being ground floor it was amazing to walk out and watch the sunrise every morning. The perfect sunrise trail is just right next door also! The laundry in the unit was a blessing & we used it tons. The grounds were quiet & wonderfully maintained. We didn't see many people but who we did were nice & no one complained about our kiddos playing! Communication from the host was spot on from pre booking to checkout and beyond. I would absolutely stay here again!
