Loved the house, the dock was lovely and the house was clean upon arrival.Also our house was very communicative with us and helped address any issues we had. I’d highly recommend this place, especially during the summer.

Fantastic house!

This is one of the nicest homes we’ve rented in 20 years of vacation rentals. Very true to the photos. Spacious, clean, well-stocked, and great amenities. Beautiful lakefront location!

Super getaway spot

Great spot for larger group that wants to get away. The dock area and the fire pit were perfect spots to gather outside. Inside was spacious and comfortable.

We visited with a large family group, and our stay was phenomenal. The home offered plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable, and the kitchen was impressively well-equipped. The property was exceptionally well-maintained, and any questions we had about the Lake Anna area were answered right away. We’re already looking forward to returning next summer with even more family. Thank you for an unforgettable week!

Perfect Getaway

The home was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed using the provided kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes during the day and playing games and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit at night. We had great weather, but even if we hadn’t, there was plenty to do inside. This was the perfect getaway for our family, and we would love to come back again!

Amazing once again

Lake Life is the perfect house for a long fall weekend with a large group. This house is wonderful. It’s spacious, always super clean and the owner Keith has thought of everything! This is our third stay and we can’t wait for next year!!

Property was beautiful. Owner super nice and very responsive. They have thought of everything for the house. Wood for the fire pit, every and any gadget that you would possible need in the kitchen, etc. Ourselves, our children and our 5 grandchildren had a remarkable stay. We'll be back.

Very nice property. Everything was as described. The only snafu, for which I take responsibility, was all.communications were on an email account that I didn’t use. We finally unraveled the issue the day before we arrived. Did not understand the relationship between Evolve and VRBO. Not a reflection on the property or owner. Our stay was awesome.

Summer get away

This property is wonderful! It’s nestled back in a cove where you will have total quiet. The house has everything you could ask for, all the dishes and pots/pans and appliances you will need. There is a fridge and wireless speaker down on dock and even inflatables with an inflator. We barely left the lake! We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing outdoor space!

We just stayed at Lake Life and the kids had a blast! The outdoor space is so great for young families. I loved the shades beach area, the huge dock area complete with a fridge and lots of shaded seating. Then the walkway to the house was super convenient going to the deck at the house and indoor patio. We really utilized all the outdoor spaces. Inside had a great flow with the open spaces. Also appreciated how all the beds had memory foam which made sleep so much more enjoyable. Keith was also super responsive to all of my many many questions! Thanks for the great stay!

A Wonderful Lake Life Retreat

From the moment we booked this vacation home, the owner was a tremendous help with everything....and that continued through the week of our stay. The house setup is amazing for large families with open concepts both upstairs and downstairs to gather. The kitchen was fully stocked and has the largest island I have ever seen. There was plenty of everything for our group of 16. The dock was amazing....plenty of room, sun and shade, TV/music, tables/chairs for meals/games, fishing rod holders, beautiful peaceful lake with minimal boat traffic. We spent hours just floating in the lake. They also provide a wonderful "honor system" service of gas for the boat we brought with us. We were able to fill up several times right at the dock and at the end of the week we filled up the gas cans at the local gas station. The owner provided canoes, kayaks, paddleboard for guest use. We highly recommend this house and these owners to work with for your rentals in the future. This house is located on the private side of the lake which comes with so many advantages.

Perfect!! We go to Lake Anna every year. We stayed at this house years ago and I’ve tried to book it every year since but because I’ve procrastinated, I missed it, until this year! This house has everything! We bring our boat…launch it about 5 minutes away and dock it at the boathouse on the property. The yard is good for lawn games. There is a volleyball net. The fire pit is huge with ample seating. The fishing is excellent with the underwater lights. The dock has a TV, speaker, bar seating, a refrigerator, plenty of seats, 2 picnic tables… the inside is clean and has everything you need…really the only house I have stayed at that does. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything for cooking. There are 2 refrigerators. Laundry. The bathrooms have soap…shampoo…. Linens are provided. The kids loved the games…air hockey; shuffleboard; foosball; ping pong. There is plenty of seating on the deck outside. I’m sure I am missing some of the amenities…but, this house has been the best out of all of the houses we have been to, and we’ve been to a lot!

We highly recommend this house!

We’ve been doing August family lake house vacations for six years and everyone agrees: “This was our best one yet!” The house was amazing. Very clean and well stocked with living items, such as plates/silverware, pots and pans, propane for grille, gas for boat, kayaks and paddle boards, and wood for fire pit. Also, the second large refrigerator/freezer was convenient and extremely valuable when you’ve got food for 12 people (8 adults, 4 kids). The location in a quiet area of the lake was great. Can't overstate the serenity of the private side & warm lake water! We spent many hours playing, fishing, floating, and relaxing on the spacious, well-furnished dock. Loved the refrigerator on the dock too! The zero-entry beach perfect for the kids playing and getting the kayaks/paddle boards into and out of the lake and the yard excellent for our “Olympic games.” For downtime, having TVs in every room was great. Also appreciated the games and ping pong table outside. While the listing said the Internet may not be what we’re used to in our suburban home, it was solid and supported all our devices. Only one glitch, for some reason we weren’t able to put our Sonos on network. The best confirmation as to how much we loved this house is that we rarely left it. Other than a trip to church, pizza & grocery store, and the State Park for hike & lunch, we were very happy to enjoy our time at the house on the lake. I think it’s safe to say that we’ll be looking to go back someday!

Bumpass Lake Life

The place was fantastic. Took my three kids and their families which included seven grandchildren. They had the time of their lives. We sell celebrated two birthdays there of my grandchildren. It was perfect love how secluded it was. Loved all the amenities. Loved having all the kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. My grandchildren went fishing for the first time the oldest who turned 10 caught eight fish, catfish and large mouth bass. They all caught at least one. Memories will be with them for a long time.

The abundance of space, rooms and amenities made our family gathering a great success. Our grand parents were in awe with their master bedroom accommodations especially the great master bedroom on the main level. The second in the lower level was half the size but still comfortable. The best part of the house is the open space in the kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and the living room. Of the 4 days we were there only 1 day we were able to enjoy the outdoor amenities… fire pit, canoes and the volley ball net due to the weather. We all had a great time. The only nick picking items we had were behind one of the recliner there were some small plastering fillers which needed paint overs. Secondly, we had a hard time finding the laundry mesh bags. Which we somehow missed any mentioning that it was hanging behind the laundry room door. And thirdly there was a very unflattering stain on one of the Bathroom curtain. As mentioned they are just little picky stuff when compare to all the other attribution of the place with a very well equipped kitchen, large screen tv’s, gaming tables, fire pit, canoes, volleyball net, and more which made this family gathering a very memorable one and I really appreciate the owner of the place share it with us and others. Thank you.

Second time guests

This is our second time renting Lake Life and it was just as great if not better. Keith was super responsive to any questions we had. There’s not much more you could want or need. Kitchen was well stocked, rooms are spacious and clean. Beautifully decorated, and the view is so serene. The layout is perfect for a large group. Can’t wait to go back!

More than 5 stars!!

Our long weekend at Lake Life with friends was absolutely perfect! The house was beautiful, private, fully stocked with ANYTHING you could think of and we couldn't ask for more. The dock was the best part. We were shocked at how many supplies were provided for us, the house was full of thoughtful touches for the guests. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic Lake Vacation

Wonderful lakefront home with lots of things to do inside and out. We especially enjoyed our time on the dock fishing and being out on the peaceful lake. Hoping to return in the future.
