This is by far the most beautiful house we have ever stayed in! The location on the beach was incredible! The sunsets every night were spectacular! The house is absolutely beautiful! This was the perfect house for our family of 5!

Huge! No parking though, so don’t bring a lifted truck or large vehicles, short small garage for compact cars!Walking distance from a lot of bars and restaurants!Beautiful view! Construction next door , and no beach access from house unless you can climb over multiple boulders.Great for large families, and multiple guests.Not set up for 2 people , way too big, great neighborhood and Boujie! Great BIG family vacation home, better then Lego land!

The house was beautiful and well appointed. The kitchen was great and had everything that we needed to make some beautiful meals. There is no ventilation in the kitchen so it got really hot everytime we cooked. We loved being right on the beach and able to walk right out to the ocean. The sunsets were absolutely amazing. The upstairs balcony off the primary bedroom was lovely but we were unable to use it because there were no umbrellas and it got scorching hot up there. When I contacted the rental company about this they said they would pay for an umbrella and a base and then later said the owner didn't want an umbrella up there because it could possibly cause damage. So we ended up buying an umbrella that we couldn't use from doordash. I had to figure out how to return it. Having no car that was somewhat difficult. The air conditioners in the house could not even keep up with the heat so it was scorching hot for many of the days. We understand that Oceanside was in a heatwave/dangerously hot conditions but it became unlivable up there and we ended up downstairs in the little apartment. We found it a little creepy that there was cameras on the hot tub all the time as it really seemed to invade our privacy. The sofa in the living room is extremely uncomfortable and my wife had a hard time getting in and out of it. Seat is not supportive at all. So other than the heat lack of shade the uncomfortable couch, we really did enjoy the place. Amazing views.

We also deeply apologize for the miscommunication regarding the balcony umbrella and the inconvenience you experienced with returning the purchase. We appreciate your notes regarding the couch comfort and patio shade, and we are already reviewing these items with the property owner. Additionally, please know our exterior cameras are strictly in place for general outdoor security and never intended to feel intrusive. Peaceful Paradise!

This was a perfect house for my wife and I along with our two adult daughters and three grandkids. The little mini beach was perfect for the little ones to play. It really is a great beach house!

Great house, spectacular views!

Great house and a fantastic location, with everything you need for a great vacation. We made smores every night in the private outdoor firepit with the waves crashing just a few feet away and stunning sunsets. The host was quick to answer questions during check-in.

Views Beyond The Sea

The weekend of fun!

We had a wonderful time at this Oceanside home. There are several different stairs to access the entire house. The views are spectacular! We were fortunate enough to see several dolphins every day. We had a lovely time.

Unforgettable views

Our family had an incredible stay at this beachfront home in Oceanside! The location was unbeatable—and every evening ended with the most breathtaking sunsets right outside the window. We even got to see a pod of dolphins, and the binoculars from the host came in quite handy for that! The weather was perfect throughout our stay, making it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.Whether we were lounging on the deck or taking a morning stroll along the beach, everything about this place felt like a true getaway. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape by the water. Can’t wait to come back!

Just wow!

What a beautiful property. Every room was clean with great views. The private beach was breathtaking. We watched dolphins everyday. The house offered everything you could think of besides food. I would rent this again in a heartbeat. Family vacation 2022 weather was perfect we even swam in the ocean.

What a view!!

Beautifully appointed, very clean, comfortable beds and furniture., a spacious and open kitchen! The only thing I would add to the description is that the lower level is ONLY accessed by an outside stairway. We only used upstairs as a result. The view is SPECTACULAR!!!! Ahhhhh!

While the property was nice, there were a few things that were disappointing especially for the price we paid. Before we arrived, the cleaners turned off all of the AC units which made every room unbearably hot. There is no central AC unit, just one split duct unit for the main floor, and one in each bedroom. The bottom floor had an in room unit. Clearly these units are undersized and can't keep up when it is 80 outside and the west side of the house faces the sun in the afternoon. Once everything was turned on, the units had to run day and night and still couldn't keep up. We tried a combination of opening up windows and doors to catch the sea breeze with the AC units running in between, but never got the whole place cooled enough to be comfortable. Lots of sweaty sleepless nights is very disappointing for the price we paid.The other issues were not as major. There was no instruction manual for the hot tub, and it was set way too hot for comfort. We could only spend 1 or 2 minutes before we had to get out.The lounge chairs outside have seen better days and were not representative of the price paid, and only two of them had cushions. The living room furniture was also worse for wear.The lower unit had a funky smell. I get it that the unit is very close to the ocean, but my hunch is that the smell is an effect caused by the lack of unit air conditioning, so it never really dries out.It's a nice house, it just needs some more attention to detail overall.

Peace, Coffee, and Sea Breezes

Start to finish, this stay was 5-star - our favorite Oceanside trip of all! The house was beautiful, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay - from boogie boards and a fire pit to washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is huge, but so cozy and inviting - it was the perfect space to relax and unwind.We loved the beautiful weather and scenery on our daily walk for coffee and breakfast sandwiches - but meals on the patio with the Pacific as a backdrop were just as heavenly!I spent hours watching the sea (THANK YOU for the binoculars!). We saw dolphins and sea lions just off the back of the house, and I nerded out with my Maritime app, identifying boats and ships as they passed and learning more about them.The views, as stated in every review, are bliss. The beds were SO comfortable, and there is nothing quite like drifting off to sleep at night (or during a midday nap) with the Pacific Ocean as your lullaby.

Ocean Lovers Paradise

This is an exceptional property! Great location and well appointed. The online pictures are beautiful but still, upon arrival, the views are even more breathtaking--on every level! Having two living areas really made a huge difference. The adults to could hang out on our patio while the kids did their thing upstairs. Perfect for folks like us--Grandparents, kids and grandkids. If you're into the dining scene, you've hit the jackpot. Great restaurants and all within a less than 1/2 mile walk. The marina also offers a great selection of fresh seafood and shopping (making reservations for dining in advance is recommended). Oceanside is beautiful and really clean. Folks are super friendly and we even had our own private fireworks show on the 4th thanks to a neighbor several doors down. We can't wait to come back!
