The Space:

See everything Kiawah Island offers with this Inlet Cove Cottage, tucked within a private gated neighborhood just outside the main entrance to Kiawah Island. You'll love enjoying your morning coffee on the upper and lower decks and the welcoming feeling you get from the home's furnishings and decor. Use the private gas grill for cooking some South Carolina barbecue, splash around in the shared pool, or just spend time with friends and family and a few cocktails on the deck chairs. The large dining room table is the perfect place for a romantic dinner for two or even to host a few board games for some family game night.



You will have full access to Kiawah island, where you can spend time at Night Heron Park, enjoy miles of paved bike trails, or walk or bike to the beach about 500 yards away. You'll also discover nature trails and lookouts with incredible vistas of South Carolina's natural beauty. You will be near Kiawah's private beaches and golf courses. Inside the Inlet, Cove area is a Junior Olympic-sized pool and a pier for fishing, crabbing, and boating. Make sure to visit Freshfields Village, approximately two miles away, to shop at several unique stores, dine at local restaurants, and check out great entertainment. Take a day trip to downtown Charleston, around 25 miles away, for history, carriage tours, and a spectrum of awesome restaurants.

It’s not the most modern house on the block, but it’s in one of l my favorite areas of Kiawah Island. Inlet Cove offers easy beach access, easy river access, and a fantastic pool which is conveniently located right across the street from this property. Property was well-maintained and was stuck with all the essentials you need to ensure your stay comfortable. If you are looking for a newly renovated property with fresh upgrades, this property won’t be your first choice. But if you’re looking for a perfectly functional cottage in a wonderful area of Kiawah Island, this property is a fantastic choice. I would stay there again.

The condo is extremely outdated but the biggest issue was how uncomfortable the beds were for everyone. The location is good but I would not book this condo again because of the beds. I have never given a bad review of a VRBO stay before but the price for 2 nights and the quality did not match.

The location of this property was excellent and easily the best part of our stay. It was very convenient to everything on Kiawah Island, and being directly across from the pool was a major plus.Unfortunately, the condition and comfort of the property did not match the quality of the location. The unit felt extremely dated and showed quite a bit of deferred maintenance throughout. The beds were very uncomfortable, particularly the primary bed, which was extremely firm and noticeably unlevel. The sheets also had an uncomfortable, almost plastic-like feel.The kitchen was very minimally stocked with utensils and basic cooking supplies, which made preparing meals more difficult than expected. We also had issues with the air conditioning keeping the unit comfortable during the day, and it typically did not cool down adequately until late at night. Water pressure in the showers was very poor, and we found a number of dead palmetto bugs throughout the property during our stay.Overall, we loved the location and convenience of the property, but the unit itself is in need of updating, improved maintenance, and more attention to guest comfort. If we return to Kiawah Island, we would likely choose a different property.

The property was relatively clean and the host was timely in answering my questions. For our purposes, I chose this property because it is across the street from the pool and about a 10-minute walk or bike ride to the beach. As other reviewers noted, this property does not have all the bells and whistles you might expect from a property located in a resort area like Kiawah, but it does have all the comforts of home. You can get by easily and comfortably. I'd stay there again!
