This is a beautiful house that easily accommodated our family of 15. The setting on the beach, with our own private access, was perfect, even with small children to take down there. We spent most of our time in the pool or at the beach (7 kids with us) and this home had ample pool toys for us to enjoy. In addition, the four bicycles and ping pong table gave us more outdoor activities that were right there on the property. The house itself is decorated beautifully, and with a very tall family, the three king bedrooms (plus the four others!) were a huge plus. We found the kitchen to be extremely well stocked with everything we could possibly need (except that we never found hot pads!). One of the two downstairs dishwashers didn’t work and while the plumber came over right away, it couldn’t be fixed. We used the upstairs one instead, as needed. We also found the elevator to be extremely helpful. The house is also close to Coligny plaza shops and restaurants. Altogether, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful and detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that your family had such a memorable stay and that everyone was able to enjoy the beach, pool, bikes, ping pong table, and all the amenities the home has to offer. We’re especially glad the spacious bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and elevator made your stay more comfortable for your large family. We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the downstairs dishwasher and hot pads. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and will be sure to follow up on both items. We’re glad our team was able to respond quickly when the dishwasher issue arose and that the upstairs dishwasher provided a good alternative. It sounds like you made the most of your time at the house and enjoyed the beautiful beachfront setting and convenient location near Coligny. We’re so happy you enjoyed your stay and would be delighted to welcome your family back for another beach vacation in the future! ~The Vacation Company

Let me clarify – – quantitative answers are not helpful. The house was beautiful and functioned fabulously, and the pool was excellent, particularly given the young ages of my grandchildren and the shallowness of a lot of the pool made things a lot safer and more fun for them. Unfortunate that the ocean was infested with jellyfish, and it was incredibly hot on the sand, so that part of our experience was greatly curtail, but that’s not the fault of the house the only problems I had with the house were one both dishwashers did not work and I did indicate that it wasn’t serious to get the second one going, but they said they were gonna send someone in and they never did too because I’m an idiot. I couldn’t figure out how to properly turn on the shower in the bathroom, closest to the main entranceway and they spent two days actually three waiting for someone to come in and show me what an idiot I was. I just thought it was a problem with cold water. Three the bed in that room is incredibly soft with one of those mattress covers that add softness to it and that coupled with the kind of sheets that aren’t crisp I felt that I was sleeping in a mess of wrinkles and humps and by the fourth day my back was killing me. It’s just too soft for me. Also, we didn’t request it and we were fine without it but often in our stays, someone comes in midweek to clean the pool and just sort of clean around the house a little bit that was not done as I said it was not really needed .

Thank you so much for your thoughtful 5-star review. We’re delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the home and pool, especially that the pool provided such a fun and comfortable experience for your grandchildren. It means a great deal to know that the home functioned so well for your family and that you had such a memorable stay. We truly appreciate your feedback as well. We did arrange for an appliance technician to address the dishwasher during your stay, and while the repair initially held, we’re sorry it did not remain resolved. Hopefully, the 3rd dishwasher upstairs was helpful. As for the shower, we’re sorry there was some confusion with its operation. We’re always happy to help troubleshoot anything that isn’t working as expected. We appreciate your comments regarding the mattress and overall housekeeping experience and will keep them in mind as we continually look for ways to make our guests’ stays even more comfortable. Thank you again for choosing our home and for sharing your experience. It was a pleasure hosting your family, and we would be delighted to welcome you back for another relaxing beach getaway. ~The Vacation Company

Great stay, for the property, the keypad for the hot tub is installed incorrectly. The buttons do not correspond to the functions.

Great location!

The house was great for a large family of seniors, adults, teens and small kids. Lots of common area spaces to spread out. The only issue we had was the bedroom off the tv room/kitchen was very hot. There were a couple of mini portable a/c on the night stand but it was still warm. The rest of the house was great. Best location on the island with easy access to beach and 5-10 min walk or bike ride into town. Would love to return sometime!

Nice location but needs some updating

This is the 3rd house we have rented on Dune Lane and this one ranked third. Location was great. The house is definitely in need of a refresh. Lots of outside peeling paint, inside walls could use a fresh coat of paint, appliances not working (ice maker, dishwasher, washing machine) mattresses need to be replaced, stereo speakers not always working Kitchen amenities were plentiful. Lots of deck chairs. We always enjoy our time on the island but for the price, this house definitely fell short of our expectations.

Nice property

Plenty of room for all 15 of us. Location was convenient to get places. The following are not necessarily negatives but provided as Information for future guests. You could tell the place had not been stayed in for a while because it was very dusty in there everywhere. The parking is extremely tight with our four big SUVs. The dunes are very high to get over and down for some of our family to access the beach, Also most of the window coverings in the bedrooms were completely sheer, and some of them were just paper shades. I definitely would change that aspect. All in all, it was plenty big for all of us

Christmas holiday

House had nice layout. Kitchen lacked basic items needed for cooking… hot pads, Kitchen was not an easy kitchen to cook for our 8 adults 2 children. No place to store food brought in from grocery?? Coffee mugs in cupboard no where near coffee pot. Silverwear drawer in major traffic area. It all worked but needs some organizing or cabinets in cupboards. No basic stocked items like salt, pepper?? We had an awesome time at the house, beach was steps away and beautiful. As a cook if the kitchen received some help it would be so much better. Thank you

Holiday Vacation 2021/23

We loved the house and it’s location. Perfect place for a large family gathering. The company that supports/operates the house is excellent. When we arrived they made sure the house lights were on since we were arriving late. Every detail was attended too! We were also greeted with a dozen Holiday cookies. A+ all around!
