Birdcage er et unikt gult ottekantformet strandhus beliggende direkte på stranden og kort gåtur til vandet. Det maleriske hjem har en direkte udsigt over bugten fra stuen og en indhyllet veranda. Huset er et 2 værelses 2 badeværelser, der sover 10. Hovedsoveværelset har en kingsize-seng, det andet soveværelse har to dronningssenge (alle tre er kropsmadrasser, der er købt i maj 2014), og stuen har 2 sovesofaer.

Nyt spisestue gård bord, stole, kunst og barstole blev tilføjet sommeren 2014.

5 nat minimum i sommersæsonen.

Excellent location, very quiet and relaxing, but the house needs work. No insulation, and the heat pump runs 24/7 to keep it cool. It was very clean. Lots of rotten siding on the home that needs replaced.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If not for the location, we would not have stayed here. Thats the only thing going for this place. Its in serious need of repairs and updates. Its seen better days! The exterior walls are rotten and falling onto the deck, which has its own problems with backed out screws and loose boards that stick up (would not advise walking barefoot on it). The inside is worn and outdated. No amount of cleaning will erase decay. Furnishings were not very comfortable and looked to be have been picked from the side of the road on trash day. Rental company was made aware of issues, said they'd pass along to the owner. Will go back to Florida's beaches next year.

Love this place

It’s away from the busiest parts of Gulf Shores, but not too far away. It feels as though you’re on a private beach. I would, and have, recommend this place to anyone.

The beach view was excellent. The house was very clean and neat. Although the outside walls around the deck facing the ocean is in much red of repair. There was a roof leak in guest bedroom on last night from heavy rain. But overall no big problems and I probably would stay there again.

We had a few of the same things as previous reviews, a brief encounter with some ants, some lingering dog hair, splinters from the deck but overall were very happy with our stay. It says pet friendly in the title so we knew as pet owners the hair never really goes away. However there was some on the comforters and pillow shams that matched, but the sheets and fresh pillow cases were spotless! A quick lint roll and we were good to go.. the couch had a bit more but we asked for additional sheets to cover them and had them within the hour!! The deck is in pretty bad shape and is the home’s exterior but for the price and location we just made sure to wear shoes on the deck and we over looked the cosmetic stuff! I messaged about a few ants and got an immediate response but after we killed the couple we saw no more came back! It’s July, a couple ants are no big deal! The AC worked great, the beach access was clean and easy to manage, we were all very comfortable the house was so spacious and each message I sent was responded to quickly and so professionally and kindly! We will for sure be checking this home’s availability for our next trip!

Best House on the Beach

Friends Spring Break

It’s a great location. We had trouble trying to watch TV couldn’t find any instructions anywhere, they would have been helpful. The house needs some TLC especially the deck and some rotted siding. But overall we had a good visit.

Decent place

Everything was in working order and as advertised (except the blender but that no big deal). The place could use a little love on the floors and a bit of maintenance on the outside but the view is amazing, and the place is unique

The beach being a few feet away was the bwat thing ever, the kids would just build sand castles all day and it was not crowded at all... we will be returning for sure.
