Thanks so much for the five-star review. We’re glad the deck and view were highlights, and those sweeping ocean vistas and easy beach access are exactly what Seahorse 3-A is meant for. It’s one of our favorite spots for morning coffee and evening sunsets, and we’re pleased it helped you unwind. We’d be happy to welcome you back whenever you’re ready for another coastal stay.

The door lock was a little confusing and difficult at timesIt was very hot and you cannot turn off the fireplace pilot light so it constantly heated the roomOtherwise, we really really enjoyed our stay

We’re glad you enjoyed your stay at Seahorse 3-A. The home is meant to be a comfortable place to unwind, and we appreciate you pointing out that the lock could be clearer and that the fireplace pilot added unwanted heat. We’ll share these suggestions with the owner for consideration as we look for ways to make future stays more comfortable.

The only issue we had with the property was the mattress, it was very worn out. Other than that we had a great experience.

It’s a nice walk to the beach… There was a lot of hair on the bed and bathroom so I definitely wanted to spend as much time away from the room I could. The towels were kind of dirty too but I also didnt reach out to get new ones. Great view!

This is basically a hotel room, but it has a great balcony with a view of the ocean, which I really enjoyed. There were some minor things lacking, like no tissues or directions on how to use various features. We never could get the fireplace to work. Overall, it was very pleasant.

Joanne, thank you. We're glad the ocean-view balcony at Seahorse 3-A added something special to your stay. We aim for a relaxed coastal retreat, so it’s rewarding to know the space delivered that feeling. We appreciate the notes about supplies and instructions; we’ll add tissues, improve the guides for amenities, and have maintenance verify the fireplace so future guests can use it easily. We hope to welcome you back to the coast.

Fantastic view from cliff above the ocean. Slept with the slider open so we could listen to the ocean. Even saw a whale. The body wash container in the shower was empty. There was coffee and coffee maker but no cups. Even after 4 days we found the door lock challenging. Had to learn how to get into the bed. Feels like it’s going to break in half but once I was in, it felt comfortable.

So glad the cliffside setting gave you that peaceful soundtrack of the ocean and a whale sighting — that calm, coastal feeling is exactly what Seahorse 3-A is meant to offer. We appreciate you flagging the empty body wash and missing cups; we will replace and restock those right away. Maintenance will also review the door lock and the bed entry so getting in is easier and the bed feels fully secure. Thank you for staying with us, and we hope to host you again.

Nice people working there and on the phone. Property not very clean, our feet were black after walking on the floor for five minutes. Lock and key system was janky and fireplace didn’t work when we checked in. The maintenance person was there quickly to fix it. While fixing the fireplace he pulled out a lot of dust and hair. Good view when the fog retreated. Overall I give it a four out of ten.

The host was very easy to communicate with. I wish that the code to the room was a bit shorter. And I wish that it was listed that there was no AC. The room got very hot at night. Other than that, it was an amazing stay.

Great Location/Great Price

This is the first time we've stayed at this property and we were pleased. The location is great, close to everything. The view is wonderful, especially for the price. The room is on the third floor on the corner so the view can't be beat. We will definitely be back!!
