The Space:

This magnificent home in beautiful Oceanside is a perfect place to stay at while enjoying everything the northern coast has to offer. Featuring absolutely gorgeous views of the ocean, a spacious and modern interior, and a private hot tub, this home has everything you need to enjoy your vacation in style.



With a great location just a quarter-mile from the beach, you may be content to spend your time beachcombing or walking the sandy shores, stop at a cafe for lunch, and spend the evenings relaxing in the lovely house. If you want more activity options, Tillamook, just a 15-minute drive east, has a variety of great restaurants, stores, and two amazing cheese factories. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the hiking and biking trails, fishing and boating available nearby, and driving three miles north to visit the charming Cape Meares Lighthouse.



The home itself is fabulous: three bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed), three bathrooms, and two decks with fantastic ocean views.



An exquisite full kitchen will delight any cooks in your group with its modern style, gleaming stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all the tools you may need to cook up any type of meal. The living room has plenty of places for everyone to sit, and a fun bench-seating area nearby would be a great place for everyone to gather for a leisurely dinner.



Upstairs, the bedrooms offer plush, comfortable beds where everyone will sleep soundly. One of the bathrooms even has a fabulous jetted bathtub that would be perfect for a relaxing bubble bath. Outside on the deck you will find patio furniture forming a great area to sit an breathe in the salty ocean air, plus a hot tub where you can enjoy a nice, warm soak in the bubbles after a long day of walking on the beach.



This home would be ideal for a large family or group of friends to stay in comfort and style while they enjoy a beach-focused vacation. The home was surprisingly well appointed and just a lovely place to enjoy Oceanside. It accommodates our group well, affording nice spaces to gather, but also had nice nooks within it where individuals or couples could have their own space.

Excellent views in a welcoming oceanfront community. No cell service, so we weren’t able to contact the host to let them know that the WiFi wasn’t working.

Awesome place

We had a wonderful time. The house has a few little problems like any home has like a toilet upstairs that runs occasionally, and curtains that fall off the clips and a mattress that's a little old. But, none if them were substantial issues compared to the great location and overall niceness of the house. It's was a great stay and we really enjoyed it!

Mixed experience

The location of the home is great. Views from the decks are lovely. The main living area is large and a great space for several people to be together. Like others have said in their reviews, this home is in need of an update and some TLC. When you come in to the entry, there is a strong smell of mold. The carpeting is stained and old. The living area has great light but the windows were dirty with cobwebs covering the screens. The couch was old, stained and not comfortable. There are two straight back chairs that also are stained and not comfortable for sitting and reading or watching a movie. The other two small, low rattan chairs aren't made for most adults. The kitchen had lots of stuff but most of it was old - we washed everything before using it as there were some pots etc with stuck on grime/ bits of food. There was no cookie/baking sheet and no vegetable peeler. Dishes are chipped. Nice to have 3 bedrooms with queen size beds but the beds were SO VERY uncomfortable and squeaked. Two of the three sagged in the middle so if you were wanting to have some space it just didn't happen. The hot tub was nice and was working and in good order. The table on the deck was very weather beaten so playing card games there or even eating there felt somewhat uncomfortable. We ended up leaving a day early just because we weren't very comfortable. I feel bad leaving a negative review but I hope the owners are able to invest some time and money into making this a nice rental again.

Unplugged and loved it!

Having read a lot of the hit or miss reviews on this property, we were super worried about what to expect, but we absolutely loved our time and experience here. Peaceful, tidy and a great slice of ocean view from every window on the back of the house. The house isn’t the newest, so some of the past comments are probably more about some of the things being rundown but those things were not deal breakers for us. The white slipcovers are probably a mistake for a rental or at least need to be laundered more often to remove the stains, so I could see how that could gross people out. The beds are not the most comfortable, but the linens were all clean and the bathrooms were all very tidy. The door lock did give us some issues, which were challenging to resolve because we had absolutely no cell service in the area, but as soon as we drove into Tillamook, we were able to call and the issue was quickly resolved. Basically, we got to unplug and enjoy our family without issue and had a great time doing it. Oceanside is a lovely little quiet beach community sans the commercialism and we would definitely come back again to the location and this house. Hot tub and grill both fixed and working for us.

Sadly, it was super dirty

So many problems with the house. Entry level smelled moldy. Kitchen had ants all over the stove (someone came the 2nd day to spray and set up traps), oven was very dirty, water filter in fridge lit red indicating that it needs to be replaced, deck was very mildewy, screens torn, outside trash cans already stuffed full, etc. There weren’t any filters for the coffee maker (there are now thanks to my trek to the store at 6am), cupboard had oil that expired over 3 years ago, cutting board was melted, dishes were not all clean. The main rack in the grill was so rusted that pieces were flaking off and the upper rack was dirty. We were afraid to use the hot tub with all of the other cleanliness issues. That’s unfortunate because the view was nice and we had picked the house because of the deck/hot tub/view. The bedrooms had bleached areas on the carpet but sheets and towels smelled ok. The man who sprayed for ants said that they were going to replace the grill. Sorry, but that didn’t happen in days or months. Based on the corrosion, it has been in unusable condition for years and no one noticed? If so, then they never lifted the lid to clean it. I communicated the issues to Vacasa and was often told that they would reach out to the local team. We did receive a small refund after our stay and we were told another small refund had been initiated but 15 days later I have not received that one.

Pretty Decent

So the house was in a good location and rather pretty, but there were some issues with functionality. The fireplace, telescope, and microwave didn’t work. Also one the beds in the bedrooms was extremely loud if you moved an inch. The view was beautiful and it is lovely, but needs a few fixes. The communication was great. Would stay again, but would definitely recommend checking out that bed and getting a working microwave. The hot tub and bathtub were awesome.

Lovely home, but could use some TLC

Lovely home but needs some repair to upstairs bathroom faucets, better stocked kitchen…never did find any hot pads or plastic wrap. Living room furniture not that comfortable. I love to give good reviews, and with some upgrades this home could have great reviews! The windows are wonderful and have a nice view of the ocean!

Good place & great location for a great price!

Overall it was a cute house to stay in close to the ocean with a hot tub! The town is super small but that meant it was quiet and not busy Upstairs bed is very loud, light sleepers beware The house did have quite a few marks/chips on the walls and on certain corners But the rooms/furniture are definitely updated and new compared to the photos!

Beautiful location

The design and set up of the home were perfect for a family vacation, and the deck/hot tub were amazing. Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Unfortunately there was a decent amount of animal hair throughout the main living area, and the TV had a big dark spot which made it non-functional. Otherwise, the home was perfect!

Great place — Great view

The property was clean and the view of Three Arch Rocks was fantastic. Comfortable for a family stay, though everyone must be able to handle stairs. Hot tub was a treat! Location was perfect for coastal excursions.

Beautiful home

This house is beautiful. Amazing views. We loved the all the windows and the natural lighting. The beds didnt feel like queen beds. More like full size. We werent able to sleep together since we are used to larger beds. Other than that we had a lovely time.

San Diego to Portland getaway

Great location for relaxing getaway for two couples. Nice midpoint t between Astoria and Lincoln. Easy check in process. Clean property, jacuzzi was great amenity with cold weather. Only critique.. may be time for new pillows.

Lovely ciewpoint

Very nice and clean rental. Good kitchen, amazing views and pleasant furnishings. Nice that they had extras around like spices and Kleenex. Unusual to have so many bathrooms but it was great for our gathering, as each person had their own bathroom! Large and spacious surroundings. The beds were very soft, and the hot tub cover is so old. It is very very heavy to move. We did need to contact the rental property manager to figure out how to turn the fireplace on. It would be helpful to have written directions on site. I would come stay here again.
